It aint that capers needs firing or the team is palying bad @ all... its PRIDE !!!
Where's all the pride....the team is just going thru the motions & they dont have any pride & they really need to get some pride in there fans like when the oilers were here & the pride the 93 Warren Moon led team had. OH yeah it ended badly that year but them guys had some pride in there team & loved there fans. this team has no pride. :tv:

Think that could be to the lack of faith the players have in their leader?? ie. Dom Capers...
 
Agreed there. Carr has probably had all the PRIDE knocked out of him.

P BUC and Babin keep watching their PRIDE run past them.

And the oline only finds its PRIDE on screen plays....but for them every play is a screen play.
 
The '93 team had pride, but in '94 they had their heads up their butts. The result was that Jeff Fisher became a head coach. I think the head coach is the one responsible for keeping team pride at atleast a minimum level.

It certainly isn't the leader. Once again, Capers has done a fine job for the last three years. Perhaps it's people who are self-centered and have admitted they have "lost heart." Wonder who that could be?

Maybe thats not the whole problem, but there really isn't need for posts like that. This is a messageboard that promotes the free sharing and exchaning of ideas. THe lack of pride in this team is apparent, and him pointing it out doesnt hurt you, so don't waste time writing a mean message. Don't read it if it bothers you so much.

If I am paid millions of dollars to tackle people why don't I just take the leadership role instead of saying its not my problem but the coaches? There is a reason Baltimore didnt keep this guy. after winning a superbowl.
 
:pigfly: Maybe its not the pride Caddy but the team sure is just going thru the motions & if everyone can't see that they are blinded.& yes i do think that is a coaching angle that needs to be considered & it looks like the coaching staff are not even going down that road but need to.
