nero is saying that there were rumors that Wade was high on Smith and if he was available we were going to take him. Some of us fans, myself included, weren't completely sold on him and thought it would be a risky pick. Turns out Smith is dominating this year. I think I'd still take Watt over him though!

Eh, if we take Smith instead of Watt in the 1st, Mario likely plays 3-4 DE where he probably belongs. I'd be OK with it either way.

Also, Von Miller is having a slightly better year than Smith, so it will be close between the two of them for DROY.

Yeah, Von Miller plays almost every down while Aldon Smith plays all passing downs. Miller should win DROY, IMO.

He may not get hurt actually. Dropping that weight over the shortened offseason may have contributed to the muscle tear. If he stays at DE, he maintains the same size and doesn't need to drop 20ish pounds. That's a lot of muscle to drop in that time.

It's not really close. Von Miller is damn near in the conversation for DPOY (Notice the "R" is missing there. That's on purpose) and Tim Tebow owes most of the love he is getting to Miller and that resurgent Denver defense.

I think Demarcus Ware will have it by the end of the year. He has 15 sacks and will likely finish right around 20. Plus he's on a high visibility team with a big name. I think Von Miller will get DROY and make the pro-bowl.

Yes Ware, or Revis are more deserving of the award than Miller, but that does not mean that he isn't in the mix.

He has been nothing short of a Julius Peppers-type revelation as a rookie. Playing the SAM backer in base sets and DE in the nickel packages, he's pretty amazing.

Either I don't get it and it's hilarious or this is really dumb. Showing up the refs isn't going to get you any favors...
