More embarrasing stuff

Foxsports.com has a poll. :tomato: Texans not winning a game this year vs the Colts not losing a game. So far the Texans have the lead!

SO SAD!!!

The Texans winning one vs. the Colts losing one....hmmmmmm....

:hairpull: Auuughhh! I hate tough decisions like these!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the Texans win one before the Colts lose one.

There's little difference between 0-16 and 4-12, really. Both are real, real bad -- especially most expectations were another year of improvement. This is the year the Texans were supposed to kick it up to another level. Not necessarily playoff contention, of course, but to at least gain some consistency. Unfortunately, the consistency we are seeing is consistent losing. The schedule was especially tough this year and perhaps expectations should have dropped down a level after seeing it. However, having season tix, I am in no mood to go down to the stadium after paying hundreds of dollars for my seats just to see if the team can win a game. I thought we had gotten beyond that point.

Remember that the Astros had a horrible start. The Texans can still have a winning season. They usually do well competing with teams with winning records, so it's possible that a turnaround is on the horizon.

I am glad you feel rather optimistic. I am looking at the schedule. the only team I see us realisticly defeating is SF.

Wouldn't it be ironic if we beat the Colts week 7 to end both streaks?

That thought crossed my mind, too...but I quickly dismissed it as crazy talk and checked myself into a mental institution with nice padded rooms. I might be a detriment to society with crazy thoughts like that. ;)

We can dream, though... :texflag:

Even before the implosion, I didn't see many wins for this team. The schedule is tough, though, tough this year. I was hoping for 8-8 this year before the schedule came out, but when I saw it I thought, "Whoa, I only see five wins here and that isn't going to be an improvement."
