This is a eh matchup. One team is underachieving and the other one is mediocre. I'll be watching anyway....'cause that's how I roll.

I'm watching because there isn't another NFL game on & I hadn't seen Tavaris Jackson play all season & I'm curious.

Well I felt the Eagles were the better team, but VY just isn't an NFL quarterback... too long to make decisions, and highly inaccurate with his passes.

damn...... that game just flew by.

Let's see if he has the stones to take the field again, or if we have another episode.

I picked the Eagles because... well... I guess I'm stoopid or something.

I did too. I had every reason to pick Seattle (tough at home..etc) but I thought the Philadelphia that played the Giants would show up for their soon-to-be-former coach. I was banging my head for it shortly after I did it...lol.

First thing Andy Reid hears in a few hours on Philadelphia soil, "Mr. Andy Reid...please pick up the white courtesy phone..Mr. Andy Reid...please pick up the white courtesy phone."

LOL ... I haven't had this much fun on shaggy bevo in a long time. There are actually posters over there blaming VY's performance tonight on Jeff Fisher.

But I thought Vince Young just wins?!

Lol.

Two things.

1) The Eagles quit on Reid.

2) This is why I love sports. Everybody and their mother wanted to hand the Eagles the Lombardi trophy before the season started. And look where they are now. This is why I love the NFL. Unlike college, you actually have to earn it.

Man, I picked Seattle all the way in this game and in the TT Pick'em league :D

If Andy Reid is fired this offseason, that job will be ripe for the picking. Premiere team in one of the best divisions, high profile, big sports city, you know the big names will be lining up for that. What if Bill Cowher went there after being on the other side of the state for so long? That would be pretty crazy. Maybe Dungy comes back? Gruden? You know Philly will have a lot of money to throw at a big name guy.

man i rarely pick aganist the sea birds at home there a different beast at home and with the 12th man and all i knew seattle at home

remember the last time the texans played up in seattle we got tore up like 47 to 7

I picked Seattle because they won the game, I like making my pick after the game is over. Seahawks thumped the Dream Team.

I watch as much NFL as I can plus as much SEC football as I can. When I can get away with it is my only caveat. Tarvaris Jackson is playing with an injury so he wasn't 100%. I think he holds the ball too long sometimes but he flashes potential as a game manager who has some elusiveness. Lynch sure runs hard when he wants to. He is a FA after this season and I'd be wary of him because he looks really good at times and runs ugly at others. I've seen him run with less toughness, or perhaps zest...call it what you want I guess, but he runs more determined at times and if he ran that way all the time he'd be a more marquee guy. Lynch was also helped by the Eagles. The Eagle defense has serious gap control issues. Simple off-tackle plays were like solving complex math to their front seven last night. It almost looks like an O-line coach was promoted to be a defensive coordinator. :)

every year is unique. It's like Spring following Winter. Everything is reborn again like perennials. Same roots, same plant but its new up top every year. There is enough to re-learn each year to keep the game fresh.

I think that he comes back with a new coordinator on the defensive side of the ball. Reid's message is being tuned out perhaps but he is a hell of a coach. I think DeJackson pouting during a contract year is high stupidity and leads the way for the immature players to follow. They may just clear that out in the offseason, get a new D-coordinator and come back strong next year with Reid. Either way, I think the Eagles rebound with a vengeance next season regardless of who is coaching them. Take away all the drama, this team is still loaded.

One thing we get from this game?

A new Vince Young face palm!
he's doing the reverse Tebow. The agony of de feets.

I thought it was the opposite. I always thought the majority felt the Iggles would fall short due to self-inflicted wounds.

I was playing my own football game on the other side of downtown... too bad I missed it.
 @ :vincepalm:

That doesnt look much like VY tho .... I like the old one , its easily identifyable.

Actually to me it is the opposite. The first one could be any number of guys. The second one you can actually see his face.
