the more i think about it, the more i like it.

i was a complete carr basher when he was here. but considering the situation were in, id say go for it.

he would have the line he never had. the defense is in place. the running game is stellar.

tj yates v. david carr?

id give it a shot for the rest of the year. :kitten:

David Carr would never be an option for this team in the future and is a stain on the history of the Texans. There was no reason to make a suggestion like this. This thread should be deleted.

You should be banned.

Are we just going to throw out names of any QB that is not on the Texans roster and post we need to get him????

Come on guys - the trade deadline is past. Only someone who is a free agent already is avaialble.

There are plenty of websites to check the availabilty of someone before we start stupid threads about picking up someone already on another team.

Previous engagement...

Mr. thetexanator, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent post was there anything that could even be considered a rational thought. Everyone on this message board is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul!

Om picking up HHWNBM .... No. Hell No. Hell {////////> No.

I believe that players can still be traded post deadline pending they clear a waiver like process ? I know baseball has a rule similar .... maybe Im nutz.

Welp, looks like we might have a new 'dumbest thread ever'. Man, some of the crap that goes through some peoples mind is just mind-numbing.

will you people please quit posting in this goddamned thread so it will fall off the bottom of the forum page????

bring in before Carr

Junior Floyd (Little Giants) young & injury prone
Jimmy Dix (The Last Boy Scout) Texans would not want him with his drug history
Reno Hightower (The Best of Times) cant wear his white shoes
Paul Blake (Necessary Roughness) too old

Why?
Why not? Mister Mittens was our affectionate nickname for David Carr, the would-be savior of the Carolina Panthers 2008 NFL season. Instead, he caused us to waste countless hours, money - and by “we” I mean like me, not just the football team - and non-gray hairs under the pretense that he wasn’t the worst number one overall draft pick of all time. So in his memory, we will press on.

Dude, put the crack pipe down and get some air. No ****ing way we sign his sorry ass to our successful squad.

I hear another former number 1 pick is available, Ryan Leaf! Maybe his confidence is back up after coaching some high school teams.
