Tennesse loses one and we win 2, then we are in. That is what my playoff predictor is telling me.

I wouldn't write off Carolina as a win until TJ shows he can deliver. Carolina, in spite of their record, has an offense that can put a lot points on the board. If our offense can't get clicking under Yates, it's possible that Carolina could come to town and embarrass us. No matter how good your D is, you have to score points to win games.
We will go 3-2. Loses the next two weeks against ATL and Cincy. We will beat Indy, Carolina, Tennessee. Remember guys foster went crazy against Tennessee last time in our 41-7 win. Seriously guy remember we beat the ****ing TITANS 41-7
Obviously anyone picking out players to injure is demented, so nice going fellas. Also, sacrificing KJ wouldn't bring the Texans a win over Pearland High School.
Call Farve.
Is he your favre?

Still not convinced about Cincy, just watch them barely beat Cleveland, the same team the Texans put a beat down on...
I'm thinking that the Titans lose the next 2 weeks @Buffalo and at home against the Saints.
I know the vogue thing to do around here is hate on the Titans, but that's a veteran club. The Bills youth is what's been hurting them. Youth & injuries... we've seen it, lived it.
They won't beat the Titans.
New Orleans will beat them. Hopefully Jacksonville can eek one out, then us.
Not saying it because its the "vogue" thing to do. I'm saying it because Buffalo is a tough place to play (especially in December), there will be bad weather there, and the Titans historically don't play well in the state of the New York. While its a desperation game for both teams, I think it sets up better for the Bills seeing as they're coming off of a game they should have won and will be upset and ready to play.
Like I said, I think they lose the next 2 games.
I hope you're right. I'd rather see the Bills Wild-Card weekend than any other team.
I don't think either of those teams gets the wild card. The Jets, Raiders/Broncos, or Bengals will make up the 2 wild card teams in my opinion.

I'm saying if we get into the play-offs as the 3rd or 4th seed, I'd rather see the Bills as our opponent.
Raiders/Broncos won't be a wildcard. One will win their division, the other is out.
& I'm rooting against the Jets.
Tennessee plays outdoors, so I don't think that will be much of a problem. Buffalo lost Fred Jackson, while CJ seems to be finding his groove: 23-190 IN THE COLD RAIN. Still, it took a trick play on a kickoff return to put the tAcks on top. I just don't see being able to call this game until it's over. Weather won't be the deciding factor. Not saying it because its the "vogue" thing to do. With 5 weeks and 3 less than stellar teams to practice against, I can see Kubiak, if he's at all the QB guru he's portrayed as, getting a good feel for Yates and putting him in situations where he can succeed. I don;t see that as being run-run-pass-punt, either. Yates has a different skill set that he brings to the table, and as long as the game doesn't overwhelm him, Kubes should be able to find a comfort zone and gameplan for it. Right now, Kubes needs to plan to win the winnable games (Carolina, Indy, Tennessee) and make Yates as comfortable as possible. Hell, with our D, we might still run the table. Gotta keep the faith.I'm just no longer excited to see the Texans make the playoffs. Yates and Clemens are taking this team nowhere. Who wants to see the Texans slaughtered by the likes of the Steelers or Bengals or Jets in a playoff game at home.

Maybe I'm watching a different team. We are talking about the Texans right? Even the Bills would slaughter the Texans. The Texans would have lost today if Yates would have started.
And I can no longer bet against Tebow to not will his team in. I keep saying every week he can't pull it off and because of the killer defense they're playing and timely playmaking on offense they're a team that has a shot to get to 9-7 easily.
No. I think you're overrating the Bills and underrating the tAcks. As far as the tAcks MB's, they're hillbillies. They don't know any better. What has 4,000 feet and sixteen teeth? Front row at a tAcks game.Where did I call it a game? I just said "I think" they will lose. Go to the Titans message boards and even their fans are thinking weather will be a factor. I watched 1 of the worse played games recently with the Titans losing in New York. Can they win? Absolutely...... But "in my opinion" I "think" they will lose. That better?
9-7 won't win the Wild-Card, they'd have to win their division at 9-7. Meaning the Raiders would have to lose at least 3 games.

9-7 if definitely a possibility for the 2nd wild card. The Bengals have a tough schedule ahead so 7 losses is easy to envision for them. The Titans, Jets, Broncos, Titans and Bills already have at least 5 losses. 10-6 probably gets a team in, but 9-7 could do it too.
I'm not overrating or underrating anyone. I gave an opinion on who I think will win. You're assuming things my friend. The Titans have a quality team, but I just think they'll lose next week. If you feel differently then I wouldn't think you're wrong for it. That's why its an opinion buddy.

I disagree. Yates showed some pocket presence and an ability to keep a play alive, If he can avoid turnovers, I think he'll do OK.Ladies and Gents...
Prepare yourselves for some ug-leeee, old time, Bucc-Ball.
Hold the other guys under 17 pts, score on defense, kick several FGs, and pray that Foster & Tate can find the end zone twice a game.

I'd be thrilled if we hold Atlanta to 17 points.

Do you see where they've beaten a team with a good, smash-mouth defense. I really don't.
I think we may be able to hold them to 17-20 pts.
Then again, that could be the Koolaid....
I hope you're right. I'd rather see the Bills Wild-Card weekend than any other team.
Been drinking that stuff all year..... no reason to stop now.
KJ
We don't really need Mason anymore. 10-3
Foster & Tate. Don't need Ward. 11-3
Caldwell ain't playin' much. 12-3
Garrett Graham? 13-3
First round bye.
Division Playoff: Daniel Manning. Hey, we got by without him alright.
Conference Championship: Jonathon Weeks (just to make it interesting)
Superbowl: TJ Yates. We still win.
DIMENTIA IS FUN, LOL
I think we can. I just checked their schedule and I don't see where they've gone up against as good a defense as we have and came away with a win.
@CHI - L - 30-12

Two things jump out at me from that list.
They only put up 14 points against GB who's got a horrible pass defense.
They put up 23 in a win on the road against the Lions who have a pretty stout D.
Nobody wants to see our team slaughtered in the playoffs.
But you are completely fooling yourself if you think this city shares your pessimism about making it to the playoffs. That would be a glorious week (or two if we get a bye) and peace, harmony, and rainbows would be coming out of our butts as we hold hands roasting marshmallows while sining kum-by-yah as a fanbase.
We are still taking 'baby steps'. We need a first-time-to-make-the-playoffs-in-franchise-history moment as a team and fanbase, regardless of how it ultimately pans out. You don't scream at your baby when he takes his first steps because you're upset that he's not doing cross country hurdles.
Relax. Enjoy the moment. We're 8-3, two games ahead in our division. That's a first right there. Appreciate where we're at after where we've been for so long. Savor it.
There will be plenty of time for hand-wringing in the future, so don't lose sight of enjoying the moment as a fan.
Still don't get it, you can't sacrifice backups for big wins. Sacrificing the place kicker might get you a first down. Maybe. Like they bring the chains out to measure. If this was the case then why have we been sacrificing Mario and AJ and Foster and.......
