Coogs - Is there a chance?

A lot of ifs here but hear me out.

With the LSU blowout of Arkansas and the Coogs impressive win over a good Tulsa team, UH surely jumps ahead of the Hogs, right?

If OK State were to lose in Bedlam;
If Clemson were to knock off Va Tech in the ACC title game;
If Stanford were to lose the Pac 12 title game;
And if by some miracle 'Bama were to get beat by Auburn tomorrow....

...is there any way they put UH in the title game?

(Provided the Coogs take care of their business next Saturday, of course)

There is always a chance, .as in slim and none. However it looks like slim may have died.

All of those can happen tomorrow and I think OU and Clemson will win their game, but even if all of what you said were to happen, UH would still not make it to the NT. UH needs to go on a Boise State like run over the next few years for that to happen, but it looks like that won't be necessary with UH more than likely joining the Big East.

not sure what would happen but I would sure love to see it. The sports talk shows would be going crazy with that scenario.

Bama beat Auburn handily, so they will definitely be in the championship game as their season is over. Question is, if LSU loses the SEC title game, do they still go?

You mean if Georgia beats LSU?

No, I doubt LSU would go then since the re-match would have to be Georgia LSU since you cannot have 2 teams that did not win their conference playing for the title.j

EDIT: After thinking about it, I have no idea what would happen, but who would LSU play? LSU couldn't get beaten in the championship game and still go to the NCG could it, there'd have to be a precedence for that or something.
