Can't stand it anymore. Most boring team EVER

You know I could MAYBE tolerate it that we suck. However, even crappy teams have at least ONE bright spot. Whether it is the defense, a group of young players, etc. We have NONE of that.

Watching this team is a chore and an incredible bore. We don't do anything on offense or defense to get a fan excited. No exotic blitz packages, no trick plays, nothing. I guess it is not surprising considering Capers is a bore and we have taken on his personality. I love Dunta Robinson but the guy can't make plays if the opposing QB has all day to throw. How about blitzing him some.

As for the offense, has David Carr thrown the ball more than 15 yards downfield more than 5 times the entire season. I am sorry David is ruined. Even when he has time he is horrible inaccurate.

Bob McNair please show us fans that you are committed to winning. Please fire Charley Casserley THIS WEEK. This guy hired Capers and Palmer. He is the guy who has wasted draft picks with busts like Babin, Buchanon, and Hollings.

Who here wouldn't rather have Troupe who made us his ***** today. I would have him straight up over Babin not to mention they got 2 other quality players from that trade. Please get rid of Casserley this week. Capers will get the pink slip after the season.

Yes. Casserly has made many poor moves. He has approval \ denial authority.

He has no plan to build a team base. He moved 2 pics for a CB from OAK that was not a pressing need. On amongst many other bad moves...

give it a rest, casserlackeys

every GM in the league has coaches and scouts. they hired them (did you forget that part?)

every GM in the league, outside houston, is held accountable.

in feudal houston, though, you look for scapegoats among the hired help.

:texflag: Casserly took alot of chances . If they work he's a genius if they don't the fans go on the message boards and want him fired .

Casserly took a lot of chances in Washington too and it got him fired. The guy is a PROVEN failure at GM.

Casserly must accept the wreck he has created. He has failed to
draft, trade or hold together the necessary nucleus of a lot of great groundwork. Casserly failed on many occasions to recognize the ability or class of the players on this team. He was a marginal personnel director when he was the step and fetch boy for Joe Gibbs. His sucesss then was Mark Mosley and other kicking pros.

For Four years Dom Capers has stayed ahead of the boned headed decisions of Casserly. He hides the shortcoming of Casserly. He coached marginal players into very productive players. Casserly failed to keep those players and loaded the wagon with less capable players.

The huge shortcoming that must be pointed out on Capers is special teams. (The kickers are the highlights of this season, one for Casserly) The talent may not be there at whatever position you may want to choose to yell about, but a coach does have the talent to put the best special teams on the field. Casserly would find it difficult to screw up often enough to wreck enough players not to field great special teams. If nothing else Capers has stressed the importance of special teams and he has failed to deliver.

Bob McNair is too sharp not to see where this problems lies. The new GM will handle the coaching decision.

And last, the fans have a right to boo and act as ignorant as they can. But as bad as the season has been for the players some fans are just losers. Folks can righteously do a lot of things but that don’t make it right. I dare say most of these whom boo and yell obscenities at the Texans are folks that have been losers in every aspect of their own life. They would not know how to part of a successful team any more than handling their own pathetic lives.

You need a QB with an arm to throw the deep ball. Carr has a limp noodle. His throwing motion is horrific. It's like a shot put. How anyone could draft this zero is beyond stupid.

I've read numerous posts here and articles all around stating that Carr's arm is very, very strong. Some of them also said accurate, but I know he hasn't been accurate with anything long lately. So what's up? Are you sure he doesn't have the throwing strength? I thing he does, but his accuracy looks like crud lately.

his accuracy depends on the offensive line and whether he is shaking in his boots from their miscues. They guy just can't get into a rythm with this protection ( I include TE, RB's, and anyone else who's in to block).

Great--of all the possible things to say about Carr you pick one that has zero accuracy. Good choice. Carr has one of the stronger arms in the league. Go back to jail, do not pass start, do not collect $200.

Where have you been for the past 4 years?????????
Carr can pass the ball like a rocket, you just can't acheive it when you are running for your life, or lying on your back.

I wonder how accurate he would be if you took out all of the dump downs to DD? Aside from my regular DC sterness, I honestly cannot recall the last pass where DC actually wowed me.

How about the pass to Bradford in endzone, layed it right there in Bradfords hand(s). I say that loosely because Bradford forgot how to catch lately, much less with two hands. that was a beautifull pass.

I got it, how about when he threw to, no that was incomplete.
Oh, how about in the game wit, no, he didn't do it there either.
How about last year when he, well I can't think of that one either...
Hmmm, come to think of it, he hasn't wowed me either....

Aside from the pitiful houston field game, As most of you know I also have COWBOY seats at Texas stadium, (Yeah I know) But the one thing I thoroughly appreciate is the stadium music, that place is loud and energizing MOST of the time! It was like a morgue the first quarter in reliant yesterday! You cant even hear the penalty calls from the ref. We had to READ it across the field under the jumbo tron!

I think the music helps to get fans excited REGUARDLESS of the score or field playing. JMO!
