Don't Look Now, But the Texans Are 3 Games Over .500 After 9 Games

Mark of a good team is to take care of games they should win. The Texans had 3 games in a row that they should have taken care of, and they did so handily in all three.

Now, on to Tampa Bay.

I'm about out of things to complain about and that's something I haven't experienced a lot of since oh..... one week into the 2002 season.

All I got left is "Can you imagine where we would be if the Texans had hired an experienced DC back in 2006 when Gary came on board?"

After that I'm on empty.

If some one said , AJ,Mario, foster,,manning, sharpton out for some time and we would be 3 games over, I would have asked how much stuff have they smoked

Same here. I've been watching the game and the most comforting thing is it isn't so much Tennessee playing well as Cincinnati playing well below their norm for this year.
The Bengals have played probably the easiest schedule in the league, thus far. That's about to change. They're 5-2 now, but will be 6-6 by the time the Texans meet them in Cincy on 12/11.

On the other hand, look for the Titans to be on the Texans arse the rest of the way. They'll probably have 9 wins heading into that week 17 matchup at Reliant. Hopefully, the Texans will have the division locked down by then. I think that will be the case.

Fair enough, but I don't have that kind of respect for the Titans. I'm not speaking as a Texans fan in this particualr case, just a fan.

As important as the Tennessee game could be, the remaining games against Jacksonville & Indianapolis are just as important. Being 5-0 in the division going into that last Tennessee game would give Houston the tie-breaker over the Titans.

Guys don't look now but the Texans are about to be at worst the #3 seed and possibly as high as the #1 seed in the AFC after today. That makes every game from here on out important but that 6-2 Conference record is looking awfully good right now.

We might even have the #1 defense in the league before the day is over.

:koolaid:

Titans lose.

We have now opened the gap in the AFC South.

A win next week, going into the bye is crucial... a loss by the Titans next week would be even Sweeter.... c'mon guys say it with me....... CAM!!!!... boom-pap-boom-pap-pap...... CAM!!!...
