Poor Miami

There's a team and coaching staff that are REALLY embarrassing.

They have our problems but much, much worse. Horrible third down and red zone offense, terrible execution. They're just....BAD. Sparano SUCKS.

Just wait, you'll be told "at least they are tanking to get better!!!" :vincepalm:

Only Kubiak supporters use this excuse.

That's not an excuse in any way, lol. That's saying what idiots would say.

My point is that considering how bad the Texans and Kubiak have and have been failing, there are shitty, horrible, TERRIBLE, teams out there that would kill to be where we are. Rams, Dolphins, Jaguars, Vikings just to name a few.

Doesn't make it okay we're stumbling and failing (of course, this should go without saying but we know the people who will spin every word I say so I have to clarify), not in the least bit...just saying that it could be worse---much worse.

And I'll just make the response just so no one else has to----

"How can they be worse? How can you say that, you Kubiak Sunshiner? What is wrong with you? Are you blind? Do you not see what we see? Are you an *****? There's a constant with these teams, and thats shitty coaching and management. At least the Dolphins, Jaguars, and Vikings have MADE it to the playoffs in the last 3 or 4 years. The Vikings made it to the NFC Championship for God's sake! ****ing *****."

Dang, and I was going to post that...

But yeah at least the games still mean something. Actually the Texans are only 2 games out of first place...in the AFC.

I remember the years when all was hopeless, and the only excitement you got from the Texans was looking at college players and hoping the Texans draft them.

They will get a new coach next year and be 5-1 at this same point. We will be 3-3 wondering why are we repeating this nightmare again.

Alternate nightmare - we will be 3 and 3 with Wade Phillips as our HC and wondering why are we repeating this nightmare again.

With NFL parity . . . or parody as I call it . . . the weak teams tend to get better faster and the mediocre/average teams tend to get caught up in mediocrity.

Holy...

That has got to suck at least as much for them as it did for us that time Vince Young won that game against us in overtime.

Condolences Miami fans. Wow....

And to think, it all could have been avoided by kicking a PAT instead of failing on a 2 pt conversion.

Mel Kiper said this week that he wasn't convinced that Luck was going to come out this year. He said he was going to wait and see which team was actually in the #1 spot and decide to stay another year or not.

I could see him GOING if it were the Colts...but STAYING for another year if it's Miami.

Miami could just be a QB away from being a decent team and who wouldn't want to live in Miami? And if he waits another year he will still get stuck on a bad team next year.

Doubt Luck is much consoliation for Dolphins fans who haven't seen their team win in ages, and who basically had a game which was the following two combined:

1) The Rosencopter game
2) The Vince Young OT win game

think about how that would feel. ouch.

I do want them to win tthe suck for luck sweepstakes though, because I surely do not want him on the Colts.

lolwut?

Just compare the rosters. Miami actually has young talent all over the place....and why would he want to sit behind manning for a year or two?

Uhhh, anyone under the age of 70....and NOT Latino.

JK.

And for the record--I personally think that the Dolphins are a whole lot more than a single player from being good. But you didn't say good--you said "decent." I don't know that players coming into the league with as much hype as Luck has already gotten, want to go for decent. The Colts have all the pieces needed to succeed EXCEPT a QB. My point wasn't so much directed to Miami as it was at Indy. A much better situation to walk into.

No need to bunch up. Just my opinion.
:shades:

Oh...and I'll choose: "to learn from one of the all-time greats" for 1000, Alex.

I will agree with Trap_Star here. Miami seems to have young talent all over the place, whereas the Colts have a more experienced team that doesn't seem to be any good without Manning. Luck would also have to sit behind Manning for a few years, meaning the Reggie Wayne's & Joesph Addai's of the team will be past their prime when Luck takes over.

I love you, sorry.

I feel a lot of love in here, man.

You guys are acting like they don't have any draft pics over the next few years. But we're talking about a young QB that will want to be competitive immediately. Nothing at all to indicate that Manning will even be back. He's got a lot of years in and we still don't know the gravity of his injury/recovery.

Oh, and who would YOU rather play in your division???

AFC South:
Texans / Jaguars / Titans

AFC East:
Bills / Patriots / Jets

Not a tough decision for me.

Without a doubt the easier division is the South. Both teams are simply awful right now, and they both have future draft picks and can improve their teams in the draft. I just like the youth of guys like Marshall, Thomas & Long over the experience of Wayne & Addai. They both could just be a QB away from contention though, so I don't think he would wait another year to come out if the Dolphins are the team with the #1 pick next year.

Miami deserved to lose to Tebow the way they did. They honor the Florida Gator championship teams in an attempt at selling out the game, and at the end it sounded like a home game for the Denver Tebows. What the hell did they expect to happen?

Agree. Totally slap in the face to U Miami, which actually plays in that stadium.

Problem with the Dolphins is that they have a moron as an owner. As soon as he publicly went after Jim Harbaugh - even thought he already had a coach - then tried to cover it up with a "Whups, my bad", I knew Miami was doomed this season.
