I can't wait until they cut Schwab. The guy is a bum. We deserve a QB who is #1 in every catagory.
I know that you must be posting tongue in cheek. But Schaub actually slipped from his 18th rating (last week) to 21st (this week) in pass completion percentage (59.2 %).

2011 - 21st 59.2%
2010 - 8th 63.6%
2009 - 4th 67.9%
2008 - 4th 66.1%
2007 - 5th 66.4%

I suspect him getting beaten up this year has something to do with that......and our O line.

Yeah besides Pass Completion isn't exactly something to get excited about, I remember back when Carr would go 25/25 in a game and still get 10 yards passing, 90% of his throws were before the LoS. I would rather have a lower pass completion percentage if it means taking some risks with the WR who is stretching the field.

He's more than making up for it with the passes he does complete. Nearly 8 YPA is historically very good for somebody completing 70% of their passes, and is extremely good for a guy under 60%.

There's also been the unusual trend of passes being batted down at the line this year and there's really no clear reason for it. Schaub is 6'5 with a good overhand delivery and no signficant history of this being a problem. The law of averages will eventually kick in and his numbers will come back to normal.

I wouldn't hold my breath with a QB with a suspected bummed shoulder and injured "chest," especially with no significant time allowed for rest. It also helps to have healthy hips to throw an accurate ball.......a short one let alone a long one. That last quarter was not very kind to Schaub, and if this next game Schaub does not look any different than the way he carried himself at the end of the game, it would not surprise me to see him carried off the field.

This punch drunk picture has kept running through my head ever since the last quarter of the Ravens game.
