The Titans could very definitely win the division and the Texans could very definitely tank and stay home.

There was no way we could not beat Oakland. There is a whole lot of football left. We can step up or fall down. We seemingly have done mor eof the latter.
 
We shouldn't even have kept Kubiak this year. Jealous of teams like the Miners and Lions, who have turned it around while the Texans continue to do what they always do.
 
Tennessee could very well win the division. We're only in 1st place because of the Indy game and their lack of a divisional game. Hasselbeck has their Offense clicking w/o CJ doing anything and their #1 WR on IR.

The Titans scare me. I think they could very easily win the division and we'll be sitting at home yet again saying one more year.

As much as Bob McNair was determined to bring Gary Kubiak back as head coach – McNair indicates that Kubiak's job was safe, win or lose - the possible fan revolt from that move with a defeat on Sunday would have made for an ugly offseason.

But after a day of red zone failures put it in a hole, and drew boos from another sellout crowd, Kubiak's squad scored 21 straight points to win its fourth straight game. Winners.

“It's a lot of hard work to win in this league and to get a franchise that's got a chance week in and week out, and I think we're pretty darn close to that,” Kubiak said. “I'm happy for Andre. I'm happy for Dunta … all the people that have been here fighting the fight.

“(I'm happy) for this city. I want to see this place win. It'll be nice to get on Kirby today and feel like this football team has got a winner for the first time.”

Wow... Just wow.

I know I read that when it happened, and I'll admit I was happy at the time because I truly believed in "next year". But man, re-reading that now just makes me nauseous. A winning football team? Really Gary? You're season is over, but you're a winning football team?!?!

Geez. I need to take a break from this board because reading all this and discussing it is causing my hatred for Gary to build to an unhealthy level.
 
It's this underachieving attitude that has kept this franchise from greatness, look at Detroit, they have the mindset of trying to go 16-0, our team just wants enough wins to make the playoffs.

You don't know that and any one of them that started talking Superbowl would look like a complete fool. They're smart not to.

I believe we make the playoffs, either by winning our division or just winning enough games to get in, which will probably win this division anyway. We don't make the playoffs, Kubiak has to go. If we didn't get Phillips as DC, I'd probably want Kubiak gone already. I don't blame him for this last loss though.
