Dolphins special day on Sunday

b0ng

Bad Hombre
They'd honor the University of Florida -- located 325 miles north of Sun Life Stadium -- on the day Tebow's Broncos were scheduled to play Miami on Oct. 23. But nobody could have imagined the drama that would unfold since.

I cannot believe in this day and age, a home team is having a special "day" on a sunday football game honoring the opposing teams QB. The Dolphins are such a badly run organization.

EDIT: Oh, and Tebow is starting for that game.

Lol on the business side of things, the organization could care less if the opposing team has more fans in the stands. As long as all the tickets are sold.

Tebow's worshippers will be there in droves anyway to see him play.

Damn, that's embarrassing. Would be like the Texans having an "Honor UT" game on the same day we played the Titans when Vince Young was the starter.

If the Texans would have done that I would have been finished as a fan of the team. What a joke and a disgrace.

The biggest reason they're doing it is that Miami fans suck. I've been to several Dolphin games and never had an issue finding tickets, or seeing massive pockets of empty seats there. And the ones that do show up are wearing Marino, Bryan Cox and Duper/Clayton jerseys. They haven't turned the page there,.

And that's when they weren't a bad team. When they're bad? That place is a tomb.

It also doesn't help that its a bad stadium IMO - terrible sightlines and way too far from the field (at least the upper bowls)
