No Dan Dierdorf This Week

I don't mind Dierdorf. I liked him when he was on MNF and I like him as an announcer.

He was a great offensive lineman in his day. I've got a lot of respect for the guy.

So we get rid of Dan "flush the toilet so I can get Ben's attention" Diedorf in return for Dan "Take That Houston" Fouts! Silent football this weekend.

I guess it beats having Steve "I'll always hate you Houston" Tasker.

Do the radio and TV broadcasts line up? If they do, you could tune it to 610 while muting the TV.
 
Fouts can relate extremely well to Schaub, actually kinda similar styles, other than play-action, Dan was strickly a pocket QB with limited mobility but very vertical in his passing attack too. Dierdorph is good for OL/DL analysis, that's about it.

Didn't Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts call the Texans vs. Redskins game last year? I think it was Eagle who called AJ's touchdown. I don't mind them.

Dan Fouts has called all of Miami's CBS games except one.

I love how he tells the truth when commenting about Reggie Bush. Unlike some other announcers, Dan Fouts is the kid that blurts out that Emperor Reggie in fact has no clothes. You can hear the disdain in his voice when he exposes Reggie's lack of rushing ability, and it is awesome to listen to. I imagine that him not going along with the farce pisses off the higher ups at CBS, but he doesn't care, he's a HOFer!
