He needs to keep his freakin' feet on the ground. One of the first things you learn in football is to keep your feet. Well, players used to learn that, anyway.
 
I've been telling the wife the past couple weeks something was going to happen when he does his spinning moves. It wasn't a spin this time, but he was still trying to get more than what he could. Casey's been doing a great job and hopefully he can continue, but please protect that rock.
 
I didn't quite comprehend the reason for that jump. Fortunately, he's got better hands than Sage. It could have been a very costly play.
 
yeah he needs to stop that before he gets seriously hurt. The only time you do that is when points are involved i.e. a goalline TD.
 
The only positive thing out of the play was that he took a defender out (not that I wish injuries on anyone).
 
When Casey jumped I didn't think of rosy.

I just thought about how ugly it looked and said to my friend that he needs to leave that move alone.

If you're referring to James Harrison, that was Duane Brown out blocking for him that about took Harrison's head off.

Which reminds me, Duane is having a great year so far. I think he's only given up one sack, right? And that was kind of a busted play, iirc.

Hell yeah it did! Knocked him loopy and he couldn't see clearly out of his right eye afterwards. All I kept thinking about was when that dude got his eye knocked out of his head in the movie Any Given Sunday.....

Yeah, he needs to stop taking off. He gained maybe 1 yard and put himself at risk of injury and of coughing it up. Go down, live to fight another day, and hold onto the ball.

Me either. It seemed if he would have just put his shoulder down and try to stay in bounds there was a little room to gain a couple more yards on the ground.

Dude was just playing hard and was trying to fight for more yards I suspect.

Without a doubt. So was someone else in Texans' history. The biggest difference being we won last weekend!!! RIP Sage.lol
 
Casey plays with a lot of tenacity...I gotta love the kid for that. I'm not going to fault him for trying to make a play.

YOU CAN'T PLAY SCARED.
 
1. Don't jump with the ball, unless you are able to jump from your spot over the goal-line.

2. If you do jump, keep both hands on the ball.
