I tell ya who i think is having one hell of a bounce back season is Connor Barwin, he has made some good plays all season long, he looks just as fast as he did his first year and is good against the pass and the run. I am liking him more and more opposite of Mario. remember he had that sack and forced fumble before it was negated by penalties.
 
The defensive line is stacked!!! Mario, Antonio, JJ, and Barwin. With Cushing and Demeco in the middle, the future is bright.

Giving up 105+ yds a game rushing says this DL is NOT stacked. They are good at getting after the QB but the run D will be exposed big time next week. Da Raidahs are for real and running like crazy.

i think its a mentality too, we were so bad against the pass last season i feel that they are trying to make sure they dont give up big plays in the passing game and seem less focused on the run.

biggest offseason need for '12 in order:

1: DT
2. WR2
3. CB depth

I'm sorry but the line is stacked when you can get continous pressure against the QB. I will happily give up the 100 yrds a game rushing if we can get in the QB's face over and over.

Don't care if they are giving up 200+ yards next week, as long as the scoreboard has 0's on it, good enough for me....

Well duh.. That would be ideal but I am talking about what we have right now. Last year we were top 10 in rush defense and 32nd against the pass. And where did that get us? One of the worst defense in NFL history.

Barwin/Smith/Watt/Williams. That's a hellava front 4 when the Texans are in the nickel. This is what we've hoped for for soooo long.

yeah that is a good front 4. We seem to get descent pressure whether its the 3-4 our 4-3

We haven't even played a good rushing offense yet. The next few weeks we will and judging by the 1st four games, it could get ugly.
