Week One Injury Report

Carmichael and Foster are the only Texans on the list not classified as probable. Happy to see Caldwell listed as probable. Disappointed to see Mario listed at all - particularly with a groin.

I really want to see Foster open against the Colts. I don't want to just beat the Colts, I want to seem them get destroyed.

This has been an ongoing problem with Mario for a couple years now. It seems that since his balls were removed in 09, nobody has been able to find them and successfully reattach them to his groin. Hopefully he finds them this season and fixes the issue so he can get 16 sacks this year.

Knock knock

DRudder: "Who's there?"

'It's me, No Balls Williams, I hear you have an internet connection."

Would be disappointing to see MW with a nagging season long injury again.

Well if he has time to hunt down all of his internet critics, then that may explain his lack of production. Maybe we can sign Justin Beiber to come play OLB instead, I'm sure he would be more disruptive than Mario.

Recurrence of a sports hernia after repair is extremely uncommon 3-4%........although benny Joppru experienced just that. However, usually when there is continued groin pain following an adequate period of rehab, it usually heralds inflammation, tightness or tear of the adductor muscle. Conservative management is the rule (anti-inflammatories, steroid injections, platelet injections, etc.), but it usually requires an accompanying element of rest to fully treat the problem. If this is not successful, then a fairly minor surgical release of the adductor tendon can be opted for..........and did you notice Mario's other injury listing?....... "Achilles" ? This could be an example of the groin pain causing a compensation of stress from the hip to the ankle joint.

Demeco also has an "ankle" injury listing besides the "elbow." We aren't told which ankle. If this is in reference to his left ankle, is this chronic swelling or stiffness of the ankle secondary to the Achilles repair, or a postoperative chronic tendonitis of the Achilles?

I guess, we'll all be carefully observing Mario and Demeco for signs of these conditions affecting their performances.

I disagree...everyone knows that Beiber's ability to shed blockers and his exceptional tackling skills make him more disruptive at ILB.

Mario already nicked up. I stated last year "conspiracy" by Texans giving Mario excuse on why he doesn't perform on the field. I know CRAZY. But.......?

Does anyone have a clue why Mitchell is inactive for todays game? Did we sign a new NT and I missed it?
