Texans - Backs against the wall?

Practice Squad
As a Bengal fan, I'm definately worried about this game. The Texans have all the motivation in the world for this one. 9+ point underdog against the Bengals. Coaching changes. Listed as #32 (worst team) in the ESPN power poll. If you lose, you will be right there with the Arizona as pathetic this year... I really hope this isn't a "trap" game. I expect your team to come out and really be physical this game. I'm still predicting the Bengals by 7, but I wouldn't put money on it.

Cmon CovCath, you gotta give the Bengals a little more respect than that... They will come out more physical, but we come out that way every game and marvin has us prepared for what any team can offer us... Im a Brossart grad and you know we dont have a football team, but even I know that this should be a win for the bengals, unless the unthinkable happens....

Fear the team with an extra week, a new coordinator, and nothing to lose. I'm worried for my Bengals this week. They need to play as hard as they can or they'll lose.

All I'm saying is that Houston has nothing to lose this game. They will give a 100 percent. Any team can be flat on any given day. Just look at K.C the other night.

I think the Broncos played the way Capers wants us to play. Run the ball, play action, bootleg. Seems to work when they're clicking on all cylinders.

It's really tough for a team to go 4-0, this is like almost a first for the Bengals. The Bengals have what the Texans were supposed to, a star QB, an awesome reciever and a durable running back, and a mammoth oline.....This is the team that the Texans were supposed to be.

It now looks like we are having a do-over. Is suspect that the odds of you being the favorite are little too much (-9) but you are still at home and you have all the momentum. I like the "anything can happen on Sunday" moniker, and it may very well apply here. We could be catching you at the right time as you me be overlooking us and not be pumped for the game. The game is a huge question mark for us, but I'll wait until I see the football team we were promised before making the assertion that we are gong to ship your a**.

Bengals: +12 in turnover ratio (1st in the league)
Texans: - 6 in turnover ratio (30th in the league)

I'd say that's a recipe for disaster.

The Bengals are 3-0. The Texans were blown out their first two games.
All the Bengals get is 9 point favorites. This would concern me, Bengals fan---LOL

I hate to say this, but I haven't seen anything to give me even some hope
(forget about confidance), that the Texans have any chance to win this game Sunday. I'm still completely in the dark about what happened to the
team between the Jags & Browns game last year but whatever it was, think
its gonna take a lot more than bringing in a couple reserves off the bench to play D and promoting a line coach.

This game scares me as well. All stats points to the Bengals to take this one in a laugher, but how often have we seen logic get the boot on Sunday?

I thought the Texans were going to have a damn good year. I'll be rooting for them every Sunday after this one.

Who Dey!

Teh Texans have too much going against them with the recent hurricane. Even though they are better than they were two weeks ago, I have a sinking feeling they will play worse than we've seen them play. I hope they bring everything they've got, but I have a bad feeling we may be waiting for Tennessee for our first win column entry.

ANd WOULD be if they woulda considered helping the O-Line in the off season, giving up as many sacks as we have is pathetic.
