Now we know why Matt Leinart stay in Houston and didn't go to Seattle. The Texans cut Dan Orlovsky


If anyone needs more confirmation.
 
Hopefully the texans learned from this experience because otherwise it was just a big waste of time and money.
 
Not to say that Leinart is Kurt Warner in waiting, but I just felt better about him being the backup as opposed to Dan-O.

I'm not thrilled with Leinart being the backup but all said and done he's better than Dan O. I wonder how often that the 3rd stringer actually comes into games.

According to the new rules for this year we will have 53 people on the squad and are able to dress 3 QB's on game day. However, that doesn't guarantee playing time.
 
Orlovsky doesn't know his head from his ass out there on the field, but like Rosenfels, he knows the %$#@ out of the playbook. If there is any question what a team can do when they know the other teams tendencies and playbook, please consult last years game against the Giants in which it resembled the domination of me playing Tecmo Bowl with my little sister, and me looking at her controller so I would always pick her play.
