This is how I see it.:

You really think we will go into Cincy's house and beat them, the way they have been performing? Palmer and CJ will eat our lunch the way our pass ruch and secondary has been playing.
Then beat St. Louis starting a 6 game win streak.
In your dreams!!!!!!!!!

We will be lucky to go 5-11.

Playing like we have the past 2 weeks, I only see 3 wins on there, one from Tenn., one from Jax just because for some reason they cant beat us, and San Fransico.

It could happen but I won't hold my breath. I felt 8-8 was fairly optimistic before the first 2 games. Now I'm not sure we have the team to reach .500 this season. Too many holes.

Nice to see someone have a positive post though. :)

I bet that Jax sweeps us this year for the first time.

Cincy will be too confident...Texans 20-Cincy 13......6 game win streak does look odd for a Texans fan, but I just can't see our team being that bad.

I haven't been completely positive with this team, but I look at the schedule and think it works in our favor. I still worry about Capers looking to punt with an option to run on third down.

I would like to see a reason based on the past two weeks performance that you feel we can make a 10-6 season. I know anything can happen and perhaps we just played teams that are better than us but what have we done to convince you we can make that record. I will wait until then to give my comments.

Our defense is stronger than the scores have shown. They were a couple of bad plays from stopping both the Steelers and Bills. Granted most games are decided by a few bad plays, but I think they will start going in our direction. I think our offense will return to last years form, which would be good enough if the defense does well. Carr is not that bad, and he is learning how to handle the poor blocking. If the blocking gets better and his intelligence grows, things should look better. Also any team can win on Sunday, so I give us a few of those.

4-12 seems more realistic with the way the first two games have gone.

Well maybe the recent changes to the defensive side will bode well for us but until I see this d stop somebody early in the 1st period and get some sacks I will hold on counting on them.

Texans 10-6 :texflag: : : :redtowel:

I remember looking back at the schedule last year and thinking, man, if we can keep at .500 through the first ten games, we may have a shot. My expectations were always that we would go 0-2. The Bills and Steelers are too fine teams. And yes, we have a weak schedule on the tail end of the season (playing Arizona and Jacksonville at home, and ending with SF). The key is staying at .500. So I always thought the really contested games (where it could go either way but really need it to go our way) would be Cincinatti, @Jax, and St. Louis at home. Can we step up? I don't know. But I'm sure going to watch.

You know, its not that we are 0-2, I kinda expected that too. Its the way we've lost. We've looked lost and confused. Absolutley no pressure on the opposing QB. You put any 2nd or 3rd string QB in this league against us, with the pass rush or lack thereof that we've had and they'll pick us apart. 14 points in eight quarters? Zero forced turnovers in the same amount of time. Not a recipe for optomism. That being said, I sure hope we turn it around against Cincy in two weeks. Go Texans! :texflag:

I was quiet after the first game with all the dropped balls by everyone and Buffalos D successfully shutting AJ down while relying on other recievers on our team dropping balls(or not turning around to catch them) even with the fact that our D failed to shut down any of the Bills WRs at all.

Now against Pitt, again aj was shut down and even dropped some passes and Bradfords 1st quarter drop was inexcusable(The later catch with the bobble was impressive though). In this game we got shredded by Ward, but i really expected W.Parker to do better against our D. Why is is that teams can successfully shut our #1 WR down and we cant stop their WRs?

I think Pbuc must go. he gets beat constantly, but i am not sure if anyone else on our roster will do. Aaron Glen sure is lookin good in Dallas. He and Drob would be shut guys down about now.

Im glad about the coaching change and believe that without it we would have no chance in the would this season. I just hope we get out of the habit of starting each game with the same patterns which are so predictable that our opponets always get early leads and seem to have copies of our playbook.

Well, if I must, I would have to call you stupid. No way in the world are we going to win even half of those games you picked out. The Texans are in serious trouble right now and there confidence level is at an all time low. Some don't even care if they win 1 game, much less 8 or 10.
We will not win against Cincy, that's a given. I don't think we can even beat Tenn the way we are playing. We will get out-coached by Fisher...
Our only chance of wins are against Cleveland and San Fran.

I still belive we can get eight wins.

I watch the NFL because of the any given sunday mantra. Every one has a shot and anyone can catch fire. At the very least we have had a shake up and should spawn a reaction from the players.

The question is will they respond? We will not know the answer until 10/2.

Chad Johnson may be the guy we need on the other side of the ball to light a fire under this team by running his mouth. Carr may be looking at this game and dreading the clippings that the following #1 pick may out duel him.

What really worries me about our schedule is that we got the matador because he was supposed to shut down that side, and the AFC South is pass-happy. With the problems on the matador side, I think we will be lucky to get out of the AFC south with two wins this year.

nothing like them :homer: s
forget playoffs at this point, no ones even worthy of a fantasy football roster spot with 12+ teams in it, with the way our team loses together.

Ten ..................W
@Seattle................L <-Holmgrens plan finally starts to pay off
Indy ..................L <-No question about it

@Indy....................L
K.C. .....................L
St. Louis.................W <-I can see this

No Int returns or Fumble recoveries for touchdowns. For the Ravens :brickwall :brickwall

"PLAYOFFS? You're talking about playoffs?!!! We'll be lucky just to win another game..." -- Jim Mora, coach of the Colts a long time ago.

If you hear that clip played on sports talk radio....it's just hilarious.

The brutal honesty in his voice when he says it is so refreshing.

We ain't making the playoffs.

I vow to shave my sack hair and glue it to my upper lip if we make the playoffs. And you can sure as heck hold me to it if it happens.

That's a promise.
