Buffalo Bills new uniforms

Better than what they had been wearing but they should have gone all the way back to old logo with the standing buffalo.

Not a bad looking uni. Are there league rules about when or how often teams can change uniforms? I'm sure they must be approved. Can they do it whenever they get the whim?

I'm not sure what the league rules are for uniform changes but I like their "old school" logo from the 60's and early 70's.

The new unis look like something from Yo Gabba Gabba. Those arm stripes on the home jerseys have a very circus vibe.

Well, Fred Jackson makes it look cool. Lets see the uni on Fitzpatrick, Moorman or a big ugly.

Whoever created that graphic, IMO, has jacked with the hue and saturation levels in Photoshop. The colors on the stripes, particularly, are almost "neon" in tone. The pants on the away version have shadow distortion due to jacking with the hue and saturation settings. Amateur hour.

As you'll see, the color levels had been jacked with to extreme limits.

Here's a better snap of them, from the www.buffalobills.com splash page:

I actually like THIS helmet design. LOL.

I think Jack Del Rio gave his famous "Chopping Wood" speech to that gang.

Poor fella'....

Good call, GP. The colors are definitely more subdued in the real pictures.

The unis in the first post and the picture you posted are different. Look at the arm strips. The first pic has two sets of stripes, so there are four white stripes. On the real pic you posted, there is one set of stripes, with just two white stripes.

The socks on the away unis are different in each picture, too.

And not to make fun of the dude, but what is up with the one with a missing limb? Is he an actual player?

I think the pics I posted were from a "leaked" view before the official announcement. I could not find a good picture of the new logo on the helmet for the real uniforms.

Yeah, the guy did this:

1. Used photo from last year, put it into photoshop.

2. In photoshop, he selected the areas of the jersey that were red...

3. Then he went to the Edit --> Image Levels menu

4. He then jacked with the CMYK levels so that the red in the jersey became a blue. But then that messes with the shadowing (areas around the thigh pads).

He tried to adjust an old photo to make it look like the specs for the new jerseys.

Their jerseys look like a Pro Bowl uni, but that's just me.

BTW, there is an espn.com section that pops up sometimes and deals with nothing but uniforms. It's awesome. It will show close-ups of various versions of the team's uniforms and give crazy stats and information about the history of jerseys. Really really cool.

Ahh I see. That's pretty neat. I had no idea that there was someone in the NFL was playing with prosthetic.

:toropalm:

I'm pretty sure they're all non-players.

Probably military servicemen, police, firefighter, etc. An honorary thing somehow.

Did you really buy what drs23 was selling? Man up.

I liked the ones they wore back in 2002 I think when they had Kelly Holcomb as there quarterback along with Drew Bledsoe.

OMG, the fact that I know what you're talking about scares me!

That show is like an ear worm convention!! :worm:

I actually like watching it with my kids because they like dancing to the songs..:) Weird as crap but I like seeing the kids do fun stuff.

In fact my 2 year olds bday party this year had a Foofa cake. She loved the show about babies and wanted a Baby Foofa cake. So we went with it.

Sadly, I also know what you are talking about

Tell me that the one eyed orange thing isn't phallic. Sad what the children of today are watching. I thought Barney was bad.

LOL! Agree about the one eyed phallic symbol. A couple of buddies saw it and that's the first thing they noticed. My wife and I acted like we'd never thought of it and it's just a children's show and they need to get their minds out of the gutter yada yada yada...they started feeling bad until we fessed up that we'd already noticed it, too! :D

Disagree about Barney, though. He's evil incarnate, and was never allowed in our house. NEVER!

yeah, my little girl makes me get up to do the DJ Lance Rock dance every time. It's silly, but it makes her laugh, and I'll do just about anything for that laugh. :)

We've got a running gag going on: at the beginning, I always say "Yo Goo Goo Ga Ga" and she replies "nooooooo! yo gabba gabba!". When I don't do it, she reminds me to do it. lol

The one with Jack Black still cracks me up. That dude will do anything to get a laugh. My wife couldn't figure out why he'd be on the show, and I told her to look up his bio and he's probably got young kids. Sure enough, he's got a two year old at the time of taping the show.

Yeah the Jack Black one is excellent. And some of the musical guests are pretty good...my one daughter and myself like The Roots song about "My Family." My 2 year old just became obssessed with the "Babby" episode and knew every song. Every morning she would ask for "baby show." When we asked her what cake she wanted she said baby Foofa. Whatever makes them happy. I really think the creators just sit around thinking of the weirdest ways to make parents crazy and go with it..lol

None of my kids have ever watched Barney...can't stand it. I'm thankful for Nick Jr or Noggin because I actually don't mind watching most of their shows with the kids and they have some good lessons. I love napping to Little Bear.

Yep, we did the whole Yo Gabba Gabba party theme for the two-yr old in April. (including huge banner). She's finally slowing down some, but she would jump up and dance by the time the Nick Jr. announcer started talking about social and emotional development.

My personal YGG parent test: If you can sing at least three of the following YGG songs, you have a YGG-addicted child.

1) I Like Bugs
2) There's a party in my tummy
3) I like to Dance (extra points if you can 'do the Brobee')
4) Inside voice....quiet
5) Wiggle wiggle (hold still)
6) Anything from the Super Music Friends show

My boys maybe a bit older then YGG's audience but I have nothing but respect for any show who's musical quests include the likes of The Tings Tings, The Auqabats, Chromeo and so on.

lol! I can hum the melodies to all of those!!! NOOOOOOOOO!! :nolisten:

I agree with Hoth-Boy about Chromeo. "Nice N Clean" is my favorite song from the show, and it's just a good funk song in general.

I guess as far as kids hows go, THAT song is decent.

We're on here debating songs from kids shows. Dammit.
