Antwaun Molden reports

No Longer Arlington: Escaped From Jerry's World
Staff member
Cornerback Antwaun Molden was the only Texans player to appear at Reliant Stadium on Tuesday.

While Molden's teammates worked out at Rice and Plex, as they have been for weeks, Molden went to the stadium because judge Susan Nelson ruled in favor of the players and lifted the lockout.

A team official said Molden met with general manager Rick Smith and left.

Inside linebacker DeMeco Ryans, the team's player representative, said he asked his teammates to stay put until details were sorted out, but that players could do whatever they wanted.

The Texans will report to work when their lawyers and the NFL tell them it's business as usual.

Do the defensive players already have Wade's playbook? If not, I would hope they would have all gone in today and picked up that, game film, notes from the staff, etc. to study on their own and work on in their own workouts

Let me guess he pulled a hamstring trying to open push the revolving door. This guy is our latest Joppru.

There was enough time between his hiring and decalration of the lockout for all of that to have taken place.

Edit: and that presumes that there is no sort of back channel communications going on.

I'm willing to reserve judgement on Molden...We haven't had a competent D-coordinator around here since Capers...and he was a head coach...

He's been injured a bunch, and he hasn't been played much...

Maybe he does suck, but I want to see what happens with these players under Wade....

ive given up on molden as a cb but as long as he continues to be a beast of a gunner on ST's im ok with keeping him for his (relatively) miniscule salary

Agreed. Why did it take 5 years to hire a decent DC? Just years pissed away

I can't ever recall him even playing CB. He's gotta be bad when he can't even get on the field with our defense.

He looked good @ the combine, been downhill ever since. Now he shows up but can't get in. Our very own Keystone Cop :rake:

OK Bob, lets break the mold here.

Let em in and have the strength coach work them out, get a head start on the rest of the league. Well, everyone but Bellicheat, I'm sure his players are in the room working out already.

Film study by Phillips with his D players.

Be pro-active, do something.
