Ndevine7 pre-combine 3 round mock

Ndevine7

Rookie
ROUND 1
1. Carolina Panthers- Nick Fairley 6’5 298 DT/DE Auburn
With Andrew Luck deciding to go back to school, this pick comes down to 3 potential players: Nick Fairley, Da’Quan Bowers, and A.J. Green. To me A.J. Green is the number one talent in this draft; he fits a lesser need than the other two. Da’Quan Bowers had a great senior season but was somewhat of a disappointment before. Fairley is the safer pick. He dominated SEC defenses down the stretch and was very impressive in the Co-National Championship game. Reminds me a bit of Suh because of how disruptive he can be in the rush and passing game.

2. Denver Broncos- Patrick Peterson 6’1 222 CB LSU
This pick is between Da’Quan Bowers and Patrick Peterson. Both would fill a huge hole as the Broncos finished last in the league last year in sacks, and Champ Bailey being a free agent. The sack number will most likely increase with Dumerville coming back and Bailey is most likely gone due to his age and the fact he wants to play for a contender. Patrick Peterson is this year’s version of a shut down cornerback. Has great size and hands. He also can play Safety and Return Punts and Kicks.

3. Buffalo Bills- Von Miller 6’3 243 OLB Texas A&M
Chan Gailey coached Von Miller at the senior bowl, and Miller was impressive in that game. Miller is a great athlete and has proven he can rush the passer. Can swim or spin and has great closing speed to the quarterback. Proved that he can participate in coverage despite his coverage skills being a bit raw. Strong tackler that can stop elusive runners in the open field. Bills are weak in the OLB position and Miller could help bolster this group.

4. Cincinnati Bengals- A.J. Green 6’4 204 WR Georgia
A.J. Green is a tremendous talent. Compares to the likes of Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson or Andre Johnson. Bengals most likely will part ways with both Terrell Owens as well as Chad Johnson, leaving a huge gap at the WR position. Green can immediately step into that position and strive showing he is the best talent in this years draft.

5. Arizona Cardinals- Robert Quinn 6’5 270 DE/OLB North Carolina
With Von Miller off the board the Cardinals get the next best rush linebacker with Robert Quinn. Despite Quinn missing the entire season due to some NCAA ruling, he is still a great talent.

6. Cleveland Browns- Da’Quan Bowers 6’4 280 DE Clemson
Da’Quan Bowers is the best DE on the board. Terrific talent that is very athletic. With Cleveland switching to a 4-3 they need DE that can rush the passer and Bowers will be helpful here. Bowers has some bad tape but reminds me of Julius Peppers or Mario Williams with how dominant he can be at times.

7. San Francisco 49ers- Marcell Dareus 6’4 306 DT/DE Alabama
This pick is a tossup because the 49ers might go for a quarterback here, but if Harbaugh isn’t sold on Gabbert, I see them going with Dareus. Dareus is the best player on the board and fills the DE need. Dareus had a good career at Alabama and could become a disruptive player when Sam Bradford matures.

8. Tennessee Titans- Blaine Gabbert 6’5 235 QB Missouri
Blaine Gabbert is the number one QB on the board and the Titans are in desperate need of a QB. After releasing Vince Young, the Titans will most likely go QB in the first. The Titans will turn to him to be their franchise QB and I cant see them reaching for Cam Newton because of their failure with VY.

9. Dallas Cowboys –Prince Amukamara 6’1 205 CB Nebraska
The Cowboys defense was horrible last season. Cornerback is the biggest need on this defense with Terence Newman turning 33 and due 8 million this season as well as Mike Jenkins under producing. Amukamara is like Cornerback 1B behind Peterson and would surely help the Cowboys secondary.

10. Washington Redskins- Julio Jones 6’4 220 WR Alabama
The Redskins need a QB but with Gabbert off the board they will go with the bpa. Satanana Moss is a free agent this year, and even if he resigns the Redskins need another WR. Jones would bolster this WR core that without Moss would include Jones, Armstrong and Cooley playing TE.

11. Houston Texans- Aldon Smith 6’5 260 OLB/DE Missouri
The Texans are truly upset that Von Miller was so good at the senior bowl because they were hoping to be able to steal him at 11. With the two best CB off the board, and Julio Jones who could’ve been a valuable 2nd WR for them, they go with a rush linebacker. Switching to the 3-4, there only viable option at OLB is Connor Barwin who had a horrible injury last season. Smith will help sure up the front 7 and help get pressure on the QB.

12. Minnesota Vikings- Cameron Jordan 6’4 283 DE/DT California
The Vikings are in need of a QB, but I feel like this is a bit two high for Newton. Cam could impress in his workouts and his interviews but as of now I sense that the Vikings will be going in a different direction. Jordan is more of a 3-4 DE but as a 4-3 player he can play both inside and outside giving a lot of value to this pick. The Vikings are weak at the DE spot so Jordan would seriously help this front 7.

13. Detroit Lions- Nate Solder 6’9 315 OT Colorado
The Detroit Lions are in need of a CB desperately, but with both of the top CB already drafted I can’t see them selecting Smith or Harris this early. They are also in need of an OLB and Ayers could be the pick here, but I feel that the Lions need to protect Stafford. Stafford is the franchise QB and drafting Solder would bolster this OL and help protect Stafford from injury.

14. St. Louis Rams- Ryan Kerrigan 6’4 255 OLB/DE Purdue
The Rams are in need of a WR but with both A.J. Green and Julio Jones off the board they will have to go another direction. James Hall who had 10.5 sacks last season turns 34 so it would be hard to expect the same level of production out of him. Drafting Kerrigan will give them Hall’s successor and help this DL.

15. Miami Dolphins- Cam Newton 6’6 249 QB Auburn
The Dolphins need a QB as Chad Henne has not been able to produce as their QB. Newton is a high-risk high reward player that could either be a great QB or a VY type bust. Newton is also the highest ranked player so the Dolphins kill 2 birds with one stone as they draft for need as well as bpa.

16. Jacksonville Jaguars- Akeem Ayers 6’4 252 OLB UCLA
With no 4-3 DE options at this point the Jaguars will sure up another need by selecting an OLB. Ayers is a great talents and would be a huge upgrade over Justin Durant who is often injured and inefficient.

17. New England Patriots(From Oakland)- Tyson Smith 6’5 285 OT USC
With OG position locked up by franchising Logan Mankins, The Patriots will bolster the OL by selecting Tyson Smith. Smith could replace Matt Light if they lose him to FA and is the smartest pick for the Patriots. Tom Brady was sacked too many times by the Jets in the playoff game and adding Smith could help limit these numbers.

18. San Diego Chargers- Corey Liuget 6’3 300 DT/DE Illinois
The Chargers need a replacement Jacques Cesaire and Liuget appears to be that man. Liuget’s stock has been rising and could rise even more if he has a good combine. Liuget is the top available player that fills a need for the Chargers.

19. New York Giants-Mark Ingram 5’10 215 RB Alabama
The Giants are in need of a RB. Brandon Jacobs has been a huge disappointment, while Ahmad Bradshaw is a free agent. Mark Ingram is the highest player on the Giants board and falls to them because not a huge need for RB. Giants get a steal here as they get the former Heisman award winner.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Adrian Clayborn 6’3 282 DE Iowa
The Bucs need a DE desperately. Despite Adrian Clayborn’s character issues and the fact that he had an off season, he is still a very good talent. Once considered a top 10 pick, the Bucs get great value by selecting Adrian Clayborn here.

21. Kansas City Chiefs- Justin Houston 6’3 258 OLB/DE Georgia
The Chiefs can use help at OLB position especially if they cannot retain Tamba Hali. Justin Houston Mike Vrabel failed at that position last year and Houston is the best-ranked rush linebacker. Houston would fit into this defense perfectly and would be a huge help to their front 7.

22. Indianapolis Colts- Derek Sherrod 6’6 312 OT Mississippi State
The Colts have to get help on the OL especially the LT position. Charlie Johnson was horrible this year. Derek Sherrod impressed at that Senior Bowl. Sherrod also had the longest arms and has a very impressive size.

23. Philadelphia Eagles- Anthony Castonzo 6’7 305 OT Boston College
The Eagles need a RT, as Clay Matthews was unstoppable in the playoff game. Castonzo is the highest rated OT on the board so the Eagles will pick him. Castonzo failed at the senior bowl to transition to OG but he is still a valuable OT

24. New Orleans Saints- J.J. Watt 6-6 287 DE/DT Wisconsin
The Saints need both a DE and a DT. Luckily J.J. Watt can play either one of these positions. Despite being better fitted for a 3-4 DE spot, J.J. Watt is the best available pass rusher and in the 4-3 can play both DE as well as DT.

25. Seattle Seahawks- Jimmy Smith 6’2 205 CB Colorado
The Seahawks had a terrible secondary this year and need to target this position especially because Kelly Jennings is a free agent. Jimmy Smith has great size and speed and has been jumping up draft boards.
26. Baltimore Ravens- Brandon Harris 5’11 195 CB Miami
The Ravens need some help at the cornerback position. Their top 4 CB are FA so they go with CB in the first. Harris is a great CB and a great value pick for the Ravens here.

27. Atlanta Falcons- Torrey Smtih 6’1 205 WR/KR Maryland
The Falcons can use a WR acrosse from Roddy White to help out Matty Ice. Michael Jenkins and Harry Douglas are both not cutting it. Torrey Smith had a good sophomore season and is a very smart WR. He can also help out KR game, which adds to his value.

28. New England Patriots- Cameron Hayward 6’6 287 DE/DT Ohio State
The Patriots would love to have J.J. Watt or Justin Houston, but with both off the board they go with Cameron Hayward. Hayward has been a very inconsistent player, but has the physical ability to be a great player. Billichek should be able to coach him up to his full potential.

29. Chicago Bears- Gabe Carmi 6’7 315 OT Wisconsin
The Bears need a LT and a LG this draft. Carmi is more of a RT but I can see him being able to make the switch. He can also play the OG position, which increases his value at this pick. He had a poor season but is a great talent at this point in the draft.

30. New York Jets- Muhammad Wilkerson 6’5 305 DE/DT Temple
Shaun Ellis had a good season but the problem is he is a FA. He is also 34 and will probably request a lot of money. Wilkerson is a great pick here if they can not Ellis due to FA.

31. Pittsburgh Steelers- Mike Pouncey 6’5 320 OG Florida
Man would Mike look great great next to his brother Maurkice. Adding Mike Pouncey would help sure up this OL and help protect Big Ben so he doesn’t get hit as often as he does.

32. Green Bay Packers- Danny Watkins 6’4 312 OG Baylor
Green Bay needs an upgrade for Daryn Colledge who also happens to be a FA. Watkins would easily be a first round pick if it wasn’t for the fact that he is 26 years old. Green Bay will over look this because he can step in immediately and start for the Super Bowl Champs.

Ndevine7

Rookie
ROUND 2
33. New England Patriots (from Carolina)- Mikel Leshoure 6’0 230 RB Illinois
The one element missing from the Patriots offense this year was a powerful RB. Leshoure provides the Pats a combination of speed and power. Combining him with Benjarvus Green-Ellis and Danny Woodhead will be a scary group of RB’s.

34. Buffalo- Colin Kaepernick 6’5 225 QB Nevada
The Bills need a QB. There wasn’t one worth picking in the first round, so they select one in the 2nd. Kaepernick is not ready to start yet but his upside is great. He can spend a year behind Ryan Fitzpatrick and start in a few years.

35. Cincinnati- Benjamin Ijalana 6’4 320 OG/OT Villanova
Andre Smith has been a huge bust. Benjamin Ijalana is a good pick here because he can play multiple positions including RT as well as both OG positions. He is a great run blocker and could open up some serious holes for Cedric Benson.

36. Denver- Rahim Moore 6’1 197 S UCLA
Denver needs a S because it is evident that Brian Dawkins just doesn’t have it anymore. Rahim Moore is the best available S and could be a huge impact player for the Broncos. By selecting first two picks in the secondary, their secondary will be set for years to come.

37. Cleveland- Jonathan Baldwin 6’5 225 WR Pittsburgh
The Browns need a WR to give Colt McCoy a playmaker. Jonathan Baldwin is the best available WR on the board and has tremendous height. He is a possession WR and could be a huge player for the Browns.

38. Arizona- Rodney Hudson 6’2 291 OG Florida State
The Cardinals could really use a LG. Alan Faneca had a poor season and looks like he may retire. Hudson had a great Senior Bowl showing that he is very talented in run blocking and could be the starter immediately.

39. Tennessee- Stefen Wisniewski 6’3 298 C/OG Penn State
The Titans need both a C and a LG. Luckily they get a player that can play both with Stefen Wisniewski. Leroy Harris and Eugene Amano both failed last year so Stefen Wisniewski could step in there right away.

40. Dallas- Quinton Carter 6’1 211 S Oklahoma
The Cowboys could seriously use some S help. Alan Ball had a horrible season and Dallas will be looking to replace him. Quinton Carter is a great safety that looks good in coverage. Adding Carter would upgrade this secondary with both Amukamara and Carter.

41. Washington-Jake Locker 6’2 228 QB Washington
The Redskins need a QB with McNabb out next year. Shannahan has taken a liking to Locker despite having a poor senior bowl. Locker could be the pick here if Shannahan likes him enough and thinks he has the intangibles to be in a good starting QB.

42. Houston-Phil Taylor 6’4 337 NT Baylor
The Texans only NT on the current roster is Earl Mitchell and Shaun Cody. Both of them are not fit to be NT. Switching to the 3-4 they need a disruptive NT. Taylor was very impressive in the senior bowl. He got his weight down and appears to have gotten rid of his character issues

43. Minnesota- Mason Foster 6’1 241 OLB Washington
Chad Greenaway and Ben Leber are both FA this year. The Vikings will need an OLB if they can’t retain both of them. Mason Foster is a good talent and could be a great player for the Vikings.

44. Detroit- Aaron Williams 6’1 189 CB Texas
The Lions need a CB. They wish that Amukamara could fall to them but that is doubtful. Since he doesn’t they select the next available CB. Aaron Williams is a good talent who hasn’t performed up to par yet but is still a good player.

45. San Francisco- Christian Ponder 6’2 222 QB Florida State
The 49ers need a franchise QB. Since Harbaugh wasn’t in love with Gabbert at 7 so they will use their 2nd round pick. Since I am not projecting any trades in this mock, Ponder is the pick. Ponder fits the best in Harbaugh’s WCO where his arm strength questions will not be as important.

46. Denver (from Miami)-Stephen Paea 6’1 295 DT Oregon State
Denver seriously needs to find a DT. This pick to me was between Paea and Nevis. Paea is the pick because he was a 1st round pick before the injury. Paea has the upside to be terrific in the run defense and could be a great pick.

47. St. Louis- Titus Young 5’11 174 WR Boise State
The Saints desperately need a WR to give Sam Bradford some help. While they wanted Green in round one, he wasn’t available so they spend a 2nd round selection on a WR. Young falls to them in the 2nd round and they get a playmaker that reminds me a little of Desean Jackson.

48. Oakland- Curtis Brown 6’0 180 CB Texas
With the departure of Nnamdi Asomugha, the raiders seriously need to get another CB. Curtis Brown is the number one CB on the board. He has good size and isn’t afraid to step up in run support.

49. Jacksonville- Kendric Burney 5-9 181 CB North Carolina
Derrick Cox had a bad season this year. The Jaguars need a CB that can line up across from Mathis. Burney had a good Senior Bowl and showed that he has a knack for being around the ball.

50. San Diego- Martez Wilson 6’4 250 ILB Illinois
Kevin Burnett, Stephen Cooper, and Brandon Siler are all FA this year. They also happen to be SD top 3 ILB. Wilson is a great talent that would be a huge upgrade at this position incase they cannot sign all 3 of them.

51. Tampa Bay- Bruce Carter 6’3 235 OLB North Carolina
The Bucs have a need at OLB since Quincy Black is a FA. Bruce Carter is a big-hitting OLB that could step into the starting position if he needs to.

52. New York Giants- Marcus Cannon 6’6 350 OG TCU
The Giants could use a LG because Rich Seubert is coming off of knee surgery, and he is entering his contract year. Cannon has been impressive all year at TCU.

53. Indianapolis- Drake Nevis 6’1 287 DT LSU
The Colts need help at the DT position. Daniel Muir is a terrible DT and they have no one to help Fili Moala. Nevis is a bit undersized but is very athletic and if he puts on some weight could be a very good DT.

54. Philadelphia-Rashad Carmichael 5’10 185 CB Virginia Tech
The Eagles need a CB because Ellis Hobbs announced his retirement and Dmitri Patterson was poor down the stretch. Carmichael has all the physical abilities to play in the NFL just lacks the focus occasionally.

55. Kansas City- Leonard Hankerson 6’2 205 WR Miami
The Chiefs need an upgrade at the 2nd WR. Chris Chambers and Terrance Copper have failed their last season. Hankerson had a great senior bowl and has good size which will help Bowe on the other side.

56. New Orleans-Greg Jones 6’0 240 LB Michigan State
The Saints need either help at the ILB position or the OLB position. Greg Jones could play both. By drafting Jones they will most likely put him on the outside and leave Vilma on the inside.

57. Seattle- John Moffit 6’4 314 OG/C Wisconsin
The Seahawks need a replacement over the oft-injured Chris Spencer. Moffit had a good season at Wisconsin and could play either the OG or C position.

58. Baltimore- Allen Bailey 6’3 278 DE/DT Miami
The Ravens could use an upgrade over Cory Redding. Allen Bailey had a horrible Senior Bowl but is still a good player. He could line up across from Ngata and make plays next year.

59. Atlanta- Kyle Rudolph 6’6 260 TE Notre Dame
Tony Gonzalez is back for another year but anyone could tell his best years are behind him. Kyle Rudolph falls because there are not many teams that need a TE or use one. Falcons get a great talent here that could be the successor for Tony Gonzalez.

60. New England- Sam Acho 6’2 257 DE/OLB Texas
The Patriots could use some more Rush Linesbackers. Sam Acho is the top talent available and would be a good pick here for the Pats.

61. San Diego (from New York Jets)- Brooks Reed 6’3 257 DE/OLB Arizona
The Chargers could use an OLB because Larry English has been a huge disappointment. Reed had a great senior bowl where he pretty much embarrassed Castonzo.

62. Chicago- Marvin Austin 6’3 305 DT North Carolina
The Bears need a DT after Tommie Harris was benched. Despite regaining his starting spot, he never looked very effective. Marvin Austin is worth taking the risk on in the 2nd round because he is a good talent. Despite being suspended his entire senior year he is still a great player and proved that at the Senior Bowl.

63. Pittsburgh- Brandon Burton 6’1 187 CB Utah
The Steelers need to address the CB position because Bryant McFadden is clearly not cutting it. Burton has good size and is very instinctive.

64. Green Bay- Christian Ballard 6’4 288 DE/DT Iowa
The Packers could use help at the DE position because Johnny Jolly is entering his final contract year and Cullen Jenkins is a FA. Christian Ballard is the best available 3-4 DE and will be the pick here.

Ndevine7

Rookie
ROUND 3

65. Carolina- Lance Kendricks 6’3 240 TE Wisconsin
Carolina has no capable TE on the roster right now. TE could be a QB best friend and by drafting Kendricks, Clausen could possibly have a security blanket.

66. Cincinnati- Ryan Mallett 6’7 238 QB Arkansas
Ryan Mallett has all of the physical tools to be an effective NFL QB. The problem is he has severe character concerns. Bills need a QB and hope that Mallett sitting behind Palmer could mature and become a good QB.

67. Denver- Joseph Barksdale 6’5 335 OT LSU
Broncos could use a RT to replace Ryan Harris. Barksdale is a very talented player that if he performs well at the combine could climb up draft boards.

68. Buffalo- James Brewer 6’6 323 OT Indiana
The Bills need a LT to upgrade over Demetrius Bell. Brewer is a good talent that has good size and could be a good player.

69. Arizona- Jabaal Sheard 6’3 260 DE/OLB Pittsburgh
The Cardinals need two rush linebackers. They fill one of those needs in the 1st by selecting Robert Quinn. They get their 2nd rush linebacker by taking Sheard in the 3rd. Sheards intensity is questionable, but when he plays hard he is a very good player.

70. Cleveland- Jarvis Jenkins 6’4 309 DE/DT Clemson
Since the Browns cut Shaun Rogers and Kenyon Coleman, they need some help at the DT position. Jenkins is reunited with his fellow tiger Da’Quan Bowers.

71. Dallas- Chris Hairston 6’7 325 OT Clemson
Dallas needs an OT to replace Marc Colombo. Hairston has great size and could come in and replace Colombo.

72. New Orleans (from Washington)- Jurrell Casey 6’1 300 DT USC
The Saints could use another DT next to Sedrick Ellis. Casey is the top DT available and could be a good value player for the saints.

73. Houston- DeAndre McDaniel 6’0 213 S Clemson
The Texans need both a FS and a SS as both Eugene Wilson and Bernard Pollard did not cut it there last season. While I am not sure which spot McDaniel is going to be, he will defiantly be an upgrade at the position. Has good size and speed and could be a starter for years to come.

74. New England (from Minnesota)- Jerrel Jernigan 5’9 189 WR/KR Troy
The Pats need a WR deep threat to keep defenses honest. Jernigan can be this player due to his explosive speed. It also doesn’t hurt having players like Welker, Hernandez and CO. to get most of the attention.

75. Detroit- Robert Sands 6’5 215 S West Virginia
The Lions had one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. C.C Brown failed at the SS position last year for the Lions. Robert Sands is a good big player, but may be a liability in coverage.

76. San Francisco- Johnny Patrick 5’11 185 CB Lousiville
The 49ers need a CB, especially if they are not able to retain Nate Clements. Johnny Patrick is the best available CB on the board, so the 49ers select him here.

77. Tennessee- Quan Sturdivant 6’2 232 ILB North Carolina
Stephen Tulloch is most likely gone next season, so the Titans will be looking for an ILB. Sturdivant has adequate range in coverage and has good instincts.

78. St. Louis- Deunta Williams 6’2 205 S North Carolina
The Rams need an upgrade over Craig Dahl and James Butler. Williams is the best available S here and will be the pick.

79. Miami- Ryan Williams 5’10 206 RB Virginia Tech
With both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams being FA, the Dolphins need to take a RB in this draft. Willaims is a good RB that can catch the ball out of the backfield.

80. Jacksonville- Tyler Sash 6’1 210 SS Iowa
The FS is more of a need for the Jaguars than SS, but both of them are needs. Sash is the best available S and has good upside to be a starting S in this league.

81. Oakland-Marcus Gilbert 6’7 329 OT Florida
The Raiders need a RT with Langston Walker being a FA. Gilbert is available here and will be the pick.

82. San Diego- Jeremy Beal 6’2 268 DE/OLB Oklahoma
Larry English has been horrible so far. The Chargers draft Beal here to give him some competition and hopefully groom Beal into an effective pass rusher.

83. New York Giants- Jake Kirkpatrick 6’2 301 C TCU
The Giants need a backup for Shaun O’Hara who turns 34 this year. He misses a lot of games due to injury, so Kirkpatrick will be the security blanket.

84. Tampa Bay- Nate Irving 6’1 242 ILB North Carolina Stat
Bucs need an ILB because Barrett Rudd is most likely gone next year. Irving is a good instinctive player, but lacks speed, which is his downside.

85. Philadelphia- Ras-I Dowling 6’2 200 CB Virginia
Eagles need two CB this draft. While they drafted Carmichael earlier, Dowling could fit two needs. Dowling might make the switch to S in the NFL. Once thought to be a 1st round pick, Dowling has suffered injuries, but has the upside.

86. Kansas City- Sione Fua 6’2 307 NT Stanford
Chiefs need a big body to man that NT position. Fua played NT in college and has the experience to be a very good NT.

87. Indianapolis- Austin Pettis 6’3 205 WR Boise State
Colts could use a WR because Wayne turns 33, Gonzalez cannot stay healthy and Collie is concussion prone. Pettis could be a good slot receiver that Manning targets a lot.

88. New Orleans- Daniel Thomas 6’2 227 RB Kansas State
Saints could use help at RB because Thomas is a FA, Bush is always hurt, and they cannot trust Ivory to carry the load. Thomas is a good RB who had an impressive year this year.

89. San Diego (from Seattle)- Jason Pinkston 6’3 313 OT Pittsburgh
Chargers target the OT position here because they need an upgrade over Jeromey Clary at RT. Pinkston is the best available OT so he is the choice here.

90. Baltimore- Randall Cobb 5’11 188 WR/PR Kentucky
The Ravens need a deep threat WR to stretch the defense. While I don’t know if Cobb is that player, he is a good slot receiver that reminds me a little bit like McCluster.

91. Atlanta- Demarcus Love 6’5 318 OG Arkansas
Both of Atlanta’s OG are FA this year. They go with OG here because they do not know if they are going to be able to retain both of them, and Love is the best OG on the board.

92. New England- Ian Williams 6’2 311 NT Notre Dame
The Pats have filled most of their needs so far, so they go for a player here that they can groom to be the NT of the future. Williams had a good season for Notre Dame and could be a solid player.

93. Chicago- Clint Boling 6’5 310 OG Georgia
The Bears need to replace Chris Williams. Boling is a solid player that also played OT this year so can play multiple positions.

94. New York Jets- Dontay Moch 6’1 245 DE/OLB Nevada
Jets need as many rush linebackers as they can get to beat Brady twice a year. Moch is a project for Rex Ryan as he lacks a lot of instincts, but is very athletic and could be a great pass rusher if Ryan coaches him right.

95. Pittsburgh- Jerrell Powe 6’3 330 NT Ole Miss
The Steelers could use a backup for Hampton. Casey Hampton turns 34 and drafting Powe could offer them security as well as grooming him to be their NT of the future.

96. Green Bay- Jordan Todman 5’9 195 RB Connecticut
While Starks looked great, I don’t know if he is the answer. Todman had an impressive year replacing Donald Brown and could be a good NFL back.

Dancing in the streets if the Texans end up with these guys.

2 things

1. Marcus Gilbert, you've got him going to Dallas and Oakland in the 3rd rd. He's a great prospect. But he's not that good. LOL

2. I dont see the Pats drafting LeShoure and Thomas in rds 2-3.

Overall great job, your reasoning was very good.

sorry not trying to be critical, your mock with corrections is fine work as good as any of the big boys out there getting paid. who knows, maybe someday you will be writing for one of them?
No your not being critical i am happy about the comments so i can make the best mock that i can possible make

Just looking here at some of the responses. Hell, I don't know if I WOULDN'T draft 2 QBs if I were Buffalo. Most important piece to turning a franchise around. Personally I wouldn't do it but heck, those two are both "potential" quality starting QBs.

I think it was Green Bay that drafted two QBs a few years ago. Brian Brohm and Matt Flynn maybe? And they had Aaron Rodgers.

Anywho - great effort Ndevine... a 3rounder takes lot of work. I really like how it turned out for the Texans. I know Smith is one of those OLBs being talked about for us, I just havn't seen much of him. Lot of potential apparently. If Wade likes him than this draft is fantastic.

Love the 2nd and 3rd round picks!
