/end happy feelings about Texans in 2010 (the rest sucked!)I remember after our week 1 stomping of the colts, i was so pumped about the season, but heading into the 2nd half of the redskins game i wasnt feeling so sure. It was nice to see a win instead of a let down in week 2 against the redskins !
This right here is my best memory. AJ leaping up to win that game on a bad wheel in OT, we go 2-0 and are on top of the world! Too bad that was the climax of the season.........I remember after our week 1 stomping of the colts, i was so pumped about the season, but heading into the 2nd half of the redskins game i wasnt feeling so sure. Top 3 for me.3. Foster running the ball down the Colts throat in game!
2. Andre beating down finnigan!
1. Andre slamming the ball down when he tied the game against the Redskins!
Amen!!When the last second ticked off the clock in week 17 and I didn't have to watch any more pathetic defensive garbage.
yeah they are fun to watch when things are clicking, heck they arent even that bad when they're not.I absolutely love to see our offense clicking on all cylinders; its a beautiful thing to watch. So for me, it's the 2nd half of the washington & baltimore games. Schaub & the offense just couldn't be stopped..............until they stopped themselves that is.
Hang in there bro, it'll get worse.Best memory: Flying out to Denver and watching Houston take a 17-0 half-time lead over the Broncos.
Worst memory: The second half of that game.
2nd best memory: Flying out to Houston and watching Houston take a 20-14 half-time lead over the Chargers.
2nd worst memory: The second half of that game.
5,000 miles traveled...two games...two 4th quarter leads....two Schaub INTs to end promising game-winning drives. *sigh*
yeah that was nice, i went crazy when i saw that cause that sort of thing is the last thing i ever expected to see from A.J, and it was great.Only one thing from 2010 that makes me happy:
Watching Finnegan get what was coming to him in front of our faces, and then it being shown over and over and over again to a national audience. He got his epic beatdown on a national scale.
I believe Reggie was talking smack about how Pollard leapt out of bounds and caught the errant Manning pass way out of bounds, and Reggie yells at Pollard "Get yo a$$ inbounds, n*****!"I liked that one 5 second bit during the Indy game in which Bernard Pollard's voice was picked up on live TV while talking smack to Reggie Wayne. That was a pretty awesome moment.
Here is the clip on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DP5YqZRkm_w&feature=relatedI believe Reggie was talking smack about how Pollard leapt out of bounds and caught the errant Manning pass way out of bounds, and Reggie yells at Pollard "Get yo a$$ inbounds, n*****!"
To which Pollard creatively replied, "Shut the ******* up, m***** *********!"
LOL. Brilliantly played, indeed.
I have a hard time considering that as a good memory, because winning that game took us from drafting 6th to 11th. Might have had a shot at getting AJ Green. Imagine dual AJs in our WR corps...Time expiring on Week 17.
Sorry I just have a hard time pulling good memories out of such a shitty season.
Actually, that was one of the most exciting parts of the season for me...Reliant was ROCKING in the 4th Quarter & OT.That amazing comeback on MNF against the Ravens that showed the league that our team is on the right track. Man, good times.
