Why the anger?

What did you really expect? We knew both the offense and defense were ranked below average last year. The only question I have is how much and how fast the defense will improve this year. I expected them to have a slow start.

I was amazed by Capers though, down by 15 points, 5 minutes left in the game, we have the ball, it's 4th down with 3 yards to go and we punt???????

Maybe his plan was to have one of our exhausted guys on defense barf on the ball and look for a turnover?

That has me a bit worried.

I don't think he is joking at all. I think the defense actually played a pretty good game for the most part. Capers, on the other hand, was incompetent in my opinion. With 4th down and less than a yard to go, down by 12 points, and 10 minutes left in the game, he punts. That right there showed a complete lack of confidence in your team. Later, with 5 mins. left, down by 15, and 4th and 3 yards to go, he punts again. IMHO, Capers looked like he had already given up.

Carr did not look good. I'll just leave it at that.
