Great D for the Packers...but I'm still pickin' the Falcons to go all the way and lose to the Patriots.

its going to make me sad to watch this game & that cb we had that couldve rly helped us this yr if he was still here... tramon williams :)

i think the pack win this by a td or more. not a falcons fan tbh

Joe Buck is the most anti-climactic announcer. Big play in the turnover and Joe Buck doesn't even make it exciting.

lol at dunta getting burned for td... as per usual... the pic is front page of espn by the way...

Hesitate and you lose. Ryan hesitated on two plays in a row, and the Falcons lose a golden opportunity.

Tramon Williams.....ex Texan that wasn't good enough.2 ints and a TD and winning int last week. Great work.

I was waiting for someone to bring up the "Tramon Williams - ex Texan", but FROG!!! You of all people Frog.. That shite ain't right!!! No seriously though, you can't know.... See the Astros when it comes to letting someone get away....

Shite happens.... :wadepalm:

What is wrong with bringing it up? It's depressing. Since the inception its been a need for QBS and Dlineman. Last week we saw a gut who has 10 sacks this year that Wr passed on and an All star Db. Both were on the roster. People say.."well others passed on them." Others biggest weaknesses wasn't these positions. Heck the Packers have DBs and coached this guy to be a starter . Sorry but that is depressing that this team couldn't see it and it is a pattern. I'm not trying to be an Ass in just pissed to see talent that was in the pocket

I don't know that it's a pattern. At least not one exclusive to the Texans. Matt Schaub was last year's pro bowl MVP, he's putting up records & stats on a historical level...

But he was on the bench in Atlanta.

Walter, Dressen, Leach, Pollard, Wade Smith........ all came from other teams, but they're making the marks as Texans.

Sometimes some people need to be cut, or told their best right now, isn't good enough before they kick it into NFL Pro Level gear.

ya it is depressing... but we've heard it a million times before. its bringing nothing new to the table so why bring it up every time he does something good?

Go-Go Gadget arm....reaching.

Schaub was behind Vick. Vick led them to a NFC championship game. Give me a break,

Seriously, how much does it take for realism.I'm not here to be negative. I think Schaub is the QB for the Texans. But I think he is top 12, not Top 10 and have good facts for it. I think the Texans have a massive need at DB and D-line and there are guys that have been let go over the years that have succeeded elsewhere. Call it talent evaluation or whatever, there is an issue. Stating it doesn't make me negative. It makes me want to fix it.

Because it makes me want to slap my head 50 times and drink heavier when you see what was the weakness this year. It also makes me question more who is evaluating these things. Sorry, it just does. I'll drop it but you thought it earlier without complaining.

That would have been Hoke and Richard Smith.

Every kid that makes it to the NFL has talent. Maybe Tramon was one of those who thought he made it, and started slacking. He had to get cut to get it in gear......... It happens all the time. We can sit & wait for these guys to "get it" like Frank Okam, or we can move on..... We've got Molden on our roster for some reason........ maybe we're waiting for him to get it. I don't know.

Jason Babin is another one. The way he played in 2010, it doesn't matter if he's a DE or an OLB in a 3-4. With that determination, that motor he'd have been a star no matter who he played for. Babin's been through four different teams & you'd have us believe it was a coaching issue?

REally??

Personally, the problems I've seen with our guys over the past couple years have been -IMO- problems derived primarily from poor coaching. Seems like we get outcoached week-in and week-out. Not a fixation on Kubiak necessarily, more of a reflection. I just think that we are matched up fairly well in terms of talent/personnel, but where we lose out is when it comes to COACHING! The players are there and have been there...we just don't seem to have the BRAINS to make them work as a coaching staff.

But but but we shoulda paid Dunta...

I don't always get picks, but when I do, I prefer 2008.

Stay covering the slot receiver, my friends.

Agree!!That is my issue. I have always wondered...from the inception to now...is it drafting and evalauation or coaching someone up. Tramon bothers me because maybe they had the talent and not the coaching. GB wasn't hurting at DB but this kid was a practice squad type cut and is now a pro bowl type DB. Again, it isn't me bitching to say "see" it is me bitching wishing that talent was around.

Hilarious.

Has anyone commented on Green Bays defensive front?

Looks like they play a lot of 4 man fronts, with two tackles & two OLBs.......... 2 DLmen & 2 OLBs........

Not very conventional eh? Most 3-4s take a LB off the field when they go nickel. GB appears to take a DL off the field, & they play mostly from a nickel package.

& it works.

Damn that Dom Capers.

So how do you think the Raider fans feel right about now? They had this Rogers guy riding the bench and then traded him.

I wonder how the Bronco fans are feeling about the trade with the Bears.

Or those Texan fans watching the linebacker we shoulda drafted along with Capers manning the D?

Poor bastards.

Aaron Rodgers was drafted by the Packers with the 24th pick in the 2005 draft. They didn't even trade up to get him or anything, he just fell to them. The other QBs in the 1st that year were Alex Smith (49ers #1 overall) and Jason Campbell (Redskins #25 overall).
