For anyone interested, Pearland's about to square off against Euless Trinity for the state championship. The game's on Fox Sports Houston.
 
Just coming here to post this. Watched Malcom Brown & Steele win the Div. II championship.
 
I really hate to be that guy. . .but these teams look like they execute better and are more focused than the texans

I'm kinda out of the loop myself honestly. I know Lamar Consolidated didn't make the playoffs this year (My HS Alma Mater). So, I'm mainly just praying for La Marque to choke if they haven't already..

That game was really really good. I could not believe how badly Trinity had outgained Pearland and still lost. Brandon Carter (Trinity #10) and Garrison Hearst (Pearland #29) look like two players that we'll be seeing on Saturdays.

As per wink, the original Hearst appears to be the father of two... I wonder if #29 is one of them.

I was really impressed with the qb of Pearland also. He always kept his poise and made some very good plays. He was also talking & leading his team quite a bit.
 
I can't believe nobody has said anything about that completely hilarious TD that Pearland scored in the 3rd quarter where only the center, QB, and WR looked to be playing football while everybody else stood around.

Trinity looked like the Texans for one play there.

Agreed!! He was definitely poised and a leader on the field.
