Fat Albert was never worth a **** until he was in the last year of his contract. He then got franchised and played at a high level. He got the contract from Snyder and has gave a **** since. I don't ever want that guy in a Texans uniform.

Hey, I think he ought to "man up" and play...especially for the coin he's making, but....
To a point I understand his antics...he got traded, THEN they changed their Defense. He's not a 3-4 end and it pi**es him off. He was a dominant player at his position and he's being asked to do something completely different. Following this line of thinking, that's why he refused to go in under certain alignments....until he could more/less play as a pass-rushing end.
Imagine Mario being asked to be a 3-4 LB and to cover guys in space...while I don't think he'd throw this kind of tantrum, he wouldn't be pleased.

He has consistently indicated to our defensive coaches that he refuses to play in our base defense or on first-down or second-down nickel situations.
He has refused to follow the instructions of our coaches both during weekly practices and during actual games as well.
He has told the General Manager that he would no longer speak with the Head Coach.
He has often played patty-cake with opposing offensive linemen.
He has refused to go all-out on every play.
He has lain on the ground while effort might have produced positive results for his Team.
He has failed to report to practice on time.
He has resisted entreaties to appear in off-season organized team activities.
In every stage of these Oppressions Coaches have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Their repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be a player of a storied franchise.

Haynesworth is going to be a bargain for whoever takes him off Washington's hands and he'll play his ass off I bet to boot. I'd take him in a heartbeat because he's better than any defensive tackle the Texans have ever put on the field, AND he's going to be pleased to return to his natural position, AND he's going to want to show the rest of the league that the last two years in Washington were the Redskins fault and not his, AND he'd love to play against the Titans twice a year.
But he's difficult. There's no doubt about that. Haynesworth is a challenge to coach. He's a challenge to keep motivated. He's not a choirboy or a good citizen by Mr. McNair's definition so he's off limits. We'll stick with our kids and keep "battling" to try and figure out why they can't suddenly go war daddy on offenses for three hours on Sunday between visits to orphaned children and volunteering at the soup kitchen.

1) When I heard the $$ he got, I was thrilled the Titans passed. Thet contract seemed stupid then, now its going to go down as the biggest free-agent bust of alltime. (until the next one)
2) Was clear as day from get get-go he was a classic contract player that played pissed over his franchise tag.
3) Missed his DL coach Jim Washburn, who was able to harness his lazy ass into caring and becoming a beast.
4) He's done. It's not like he's young or hasn't had the odd injury. He may contribute as a rotation DT, but he'll never be what we saw in 2008. That ship has sailed.
