AJ Mic'ed up in the Titans-Texans game

After seeing that, anyone that says Innegan didn't throw the first punch will be proved wrong after that. Andre did lay a good 1st blow too...great angle.

Ya I think they may have posted it because so many people are saying that Andre should have been suspended. In this video you can hear Innegan throw the first punch.
 
I find it a bit unsettling that AJ told the ref to watch the hands to the face when Innegan gets frustrated, and the ref almost said the words before AJ did, but never called a penalty even though it happened a few times after that before the fight.

By the way, the captionist for NFLN keeps spelling Arian's name Aryan. Boo.

But the ref gave him the benefit of the doubt, and it did look like Innegan turned away from the block. It started as a block in his side. 'Cause I is a AJ fan!
 
Also, its CLEAR to me now that AJ was the one who got under Innegans skin, not the other way around. He was clearly frustrated, even AJ called him out on it.... and he was super pissed from the play prior to the fight and clearly it caused him to resort to the blow to AJs face with both arms.

Not surprisingly, pretty much the exact opposite happened from what the jersey shore guido haircut wearin d.ouchebag said in his radio interview in Nash.

The ref also said he wasn't sure if he saw it right. The mark of a good official is to keep the hanky in his pants (as it were) if he isn't sure what he saw.

Looks like he told the ref this early in the game....yet the ref is watching 31 all game and never calls it on him once.

This is what I have been saying all along. The refs could have controlled the game (Innegan) and chose not to. I think the refs should have to pay AJ's penalty.

Right! Or should be fined in their own right. That's kinda what I was pointing out. AJ told them specifally to watch for it.

The week 12 matchup between the Texans and the Titans was a must win game for both teams playoff hopes.

I like how Dre never even said a word before, during, or after whoopin' dat ass.

His hands did all the negotiating. Every parent should show this to their kids, as
an example on how to deal with bullies.

If you don't let your kids deal with bullies like Dre did, they'll be wearing trench coats

I actually disagree (but that's because I'm a Titans fan, right ;) ) We don't get to hear what Finnegan said the whole game, but AJ mentions Finnegan multiple times in the video prior to the incident, even complaining to the ref about Finnegan's physical (sorry, dirty) play. To me, that shows Finnegan was in AJs head. But again, I must be biased!

The video also makes it seem like Schaub, not too soon before the fight, says in the huddle to "keep your cool" because the Titans are going to try to come at you. Andre sure listens to his quarterback! (that was a joke, don't ban me.)

Don't take this post so seriously, though I know some will.

You don't think the hand to the neck/facemask area is good "physical" play? And telling the ref to watch for the foul is hardly a sign that Finnegan was under AJ's skin, it just shows that AJ was handling the dirty scumbag well until it was clear that the refs would not protect him so he would have to.

They showed this on SoundFX. I cannot authenciate because lipreading isn't an exact science and I DO misunderstand things sometimes but I lipread Finnegan saying...

Some interesting camera angles used in that. Being able to focus on just one player helps you see so many of the little things in the game.

I don't envy the job of an official, I reckon you could call a flag on most players every play.

I believe you can agree with this: That reffing crew was absolutely crappy. They are pretty much directly responsible for that fight happening (Along with like 3 int'l grounding calls that never got flagged on the Texans side).

I'm wondering how much of that goes on every game and doesn't get called.

Even in that clip Andre could have been whistled for a block in the back and for holding on a running play.

If the officials wanted to, they could throw a dozen flags every play. I think they let players play unless the foul is terrible and obvious.

I would put all 3 of those instances of "hands to the face" as terrible and obvious. If you let one player punch a player in his facemask over and over again during a game this kind of **** is going to happen.

How closely do you watch CB/WR match ups in game?

I would guess there is quite a bit of this contact at the LOS.

There's always contact but there is a huge difference between jamming and intentionally putting your hands in a guys grill. Really good CB's have plenty of power in their punch that their jam is effective off the LOS without having to resort to putting your hands above the shoulders.

This is why you never hear about Revis, Aso, or Bailey being "dirty" or "fiesty" because they actually play their positions correctly without trying to get one over on the refs when they don't flag you.
 
I am LOVING looking up at my TV and seeing Finnegan get punked over and over and over and over!! The publicity we have received over this has been insane!! We had an entire episode of playbook dedicated to tonight's game!
