McMannis

If this guy gets called for another block to the back, we need to cut him right then and there.

In the Titan's game, the announcers said McMannis but the ref said "#28" (Molden). I just rewatched not more than an hour ago and I think the ref got it right. Molden barely tapped the guy in the back - looked like the tackler was gonna miss anyway... ticky-tack call....

Yeah that would be better than working with him to correct his mistakes. You do realize he is a rookie? And a 6th round pick at that.

How about the "late hit" on Nolan? That call was unbelievable. If Mariani was out of bounds, it was by a pinky toe.

Not to mention, at the beginning of that return, Molden got creamed in the back to spring Mariani in the first place.

If this game was close, that comedy of errors would have been on par with the "intentional grounding" or "non-TD" by Foster in the SD game.

As i noted on another thread not too long ago I hate this stupid foul. I can see sitting the player for soe players but not cutting them and I'm sure you are speaking out of frustration. If you are focusing on McMannis and I hope you are you should also have noticed his speed on special teams as he is always first or second down field. Even better is his tackling as I think I have seen only one less than perfect attempt. Someone taught this kid well. I have not been able to watch much of his time at CB but enjoy what I've seen especially for a 6th rounder. I went "WHO?" when I heard nis name called but he looks good. Plus, he appears to be a cover type Cb which is my preference. Will he ever start? Don't know but until game against Titans, I was hoping to draft Brandon Harris to replace KJ and move Quin to FS. McMannis would replace Quin and KJ would be our 3rd CB. Looking forward to see how our D looks against Philly.

I am speaking out of frustration. Just seems like he's always clipping someone from behind. We get alot of returns that give us decent field position but then that penalty comes in and we are starting at our 10 or 15 yard line.
