Alabama got two quick touchdowns. They just sacked Newton twice and then sniffed a screen out. They came to play. Never underestimate Saban's ability to scheme defensively.

Alabama 14-0 7 minutes left in 1st quarter.
 
I see a lot of Vince Young, the college QB, in Cam Newton. And I mean that as a compliment.

Yeah, I do too. I think Cam has a better arm. I think it is also questionable (like VY) how well he adapts to the NFL and his ability to read NFL defenses.
 
I'm sorry Cam Newton didn't win that game AL lost it, how do they leave people that wide open.. It's like watching the Texans all over again.

I was watching at work today. I decided to leave work around 4, but probably didn't get out of there until around 4:30 / 4:40(ish)... Long story short, by the time I got home the game was over! Joe Texan's POS Crimson Tide had blown it... FML!!

I saw that they had the $cam Newton T-Shirts and I was wondering how no one had a Ca$h Newton one.

Alabama gave that game away. There is no reason that they should have lost it.

Ingram fumbling gave away points. McElroy fumbling on the, what, 8 yard line gave away points. Richardson dropped a pass for an easy score and Bama had to settle for 3.

If I am Nick Saban, I am thinking about how my team gave that game away.
 
What a comeback by Auburn ! Didn't think they do it after being down by 3 TDs ?
I want Nick Fairley on the Texans D next year, him on the inside and Von Miller on the edge. Those 2 would represent a substantial downpayment towards improving our struggling defense.
 
IMO Cam Newton didnt win that game. The Defense did! He did play very good in the second half but still they wouldnt have had a chance without there defense.


Im on the Fairly bandwagon dude was in the backfield the entire game.

Any of the 4 TDs he was a part of are a good place to start. I'm not saying he dominated the game, clearly he didn't, but he did keep it together when it looked like it was going to be a blow out.
