Offensive pass interference

Mailman

Pwned by Hakeem
Sorry for the new thread but this place is a mess right now due to everyone bellyaching about wanting Kubiak fired, so I suggest we ***** about something else.....like Reggie Wayne's third quarter TD reception.

The defense forced two consecutive incompletions to put the Colts in 3rd-and-10 from the 15, and what happens? We dial up a blitz and Anthony Gonzalez runs straight at Kareem Jackson and blocks him while the ball is still in the air. Reggie Wayne waltzed into the end zone.

That wasn't bad defense, folks. That was shitty officiating. TERRIBLE NON CALL.

They got away with those picks all night...they called it once. It's fine. We'll see Indy again.

And the one time the refs called it was the one time they didn't really do it. Perfect recipe for a home field makeup call on a big third down play....

i saw tamne push off atleast twice during the game and there was no calls but we still got handle so not like it makes a difference

Indy runs picks more than any team in the league. Teams are going to have to start doing what they did about Michael Irvin and send tapes in before each game showing the refs what is coming up

Of course it makes a difference, just as it makes a difference when your offense can't convert on third and short. The defense played much better than they have in recent weeks, which is reason for optimism. We've lost three games, and two of those losses were to elite teams.

This season isn't close to over! Chins up, yall. Manage those expectations.

I'm not sure bellyaching about officiating cleans up the board from bellyaching about Kubes, but ok.

I saw a blatant facemask by the Texans and a late hit by Pollard out of bounds that weren't called too. Things even out.

The officials didn't win this game for the Colts. The Colts took it.

First of all, don't mistake my criticism of that blatant non-call for excuse-making of the overall team performance. They got beat at Indy, just as I thought they would.

Second, things don't necessarily even out just because blown calls can go both ways. The play in question resulted in a touchdown for the Colts when the defense had legitimately stopped them for three consecutive plays inside the red zone. The facemask that wasn't called on Antonio Smith occurred right after Jacob Tamme shoved Zac Diles to the ground to get open and make that nice little run. The Colts scored a TD two plays later, so your point falls flat.

Good eye, I didn't even notice the first Tamme b.s. until you pointed it out. Flagrant push off of Zac Diles fifteen yards down the field.

Of course, when Andre Johnson gives the slightest little nudge to Brandon Flowers, and the call goes AJ's way, the analysts can't stop talking about the officiating.

Im pretty sure that we got a lot of calls in our favor that game. Our players played very undisciplined. If anything, I think the calls extended the competitiveness of the game.

I would really love the NFL to start making the offensive pick a point of emphasis. They've castrated defenses with illegal hits (and every other rule they've made in the last 20 years), why not give the defense something favorable for once.
The Colts run that play all the time, but there are plenty of other teams that get their players open with picks.

Does complaining about the officials make you feel any better about the outcome of the game or the way the Texans played?

I was wondering if anyone noticed on the Hayden INT return, that Matt Schaub looked to get hit pretty much after both his arms were down. I thought it was a late hit.

The officials had nothing to do with the outcome of this game. We just have morons running our team.

If I could have called the plays with my X Box controller you guys would have been in trouble. Run right, run left, run middle breaking off 8 yards at a time would have probably got the job done.

Screw this run **** i want balance 6 runs 6 passes

WTF would u run when they got like 9 players in the box

Thats not how u win NFL football games esp when its a passing leauge right now

There are Colts message board threads, the Indy Star and talk radio here in Indy all thanking Kubiak today for exactly that.

Kubes, is that you? Don't you have a presser to get to?
