The Giants kicked arse and are starting to get it back together. If they keep this up they should dominate the NFC East and take out the Boys.

OK, this was a tough game for me to watch. It was really weird. I had to keep reminding myself that I wasn't rooting for the Giants since I normally do watch and root for them them each week.

I knew after the 1st QTR the Giants weren't going to lose. This game also told me that the Texans are still not a legitimate organization like the Giants are. That part saddens me. The Texans might still be playoff team however they have a good ways to go.

Now I feel even more weird because I am watching the Cowboys/Titans game with a bunch of my Cowboys friends and I am rooting for the Girls. Not a fun Sunday but it is what it is

The bright side? What's bright about the Giants winning the NFC East? That helps the Texans out in NO WAY.

True, but those here that know me also know that I am a pretty big Giants fan. That is why I hate when this game comes up every 4 years.

The Houston Cougars are in a free fall, the Texans got thoroughly ass thrashed today and have major issues with the toughest schedule in the league left, Cincy blew it down the stretch and handed TB the game and kicked me out of my big knockout league, I lost both bets I placed today, and I am losing in both of my fantasy leagues.

On the bright side, I am thinking about ordering Chinese food!!

If you're a giants fan, why are you rooting for the cowboys?

This is REAL tough too. I hate the Titans because I grew up an Oilers fan. My family moved from Houston to NY when I was still in Junior High. I became a Giants fan up there because they are NFC and the Oilers were AFC, plus I always hated Dallas.

Why I am I rooting for Dallas? This only happens every 4 years vs Bud. Plus I know the Giants will take care business vs the Girls.

So the Texans would have been a legitimate organization if they beat the Giants today?

This reasoning does not make sense to me, I don't think you can compare an organization like the Giants with years of winning and history with a franchise that has not even hit 10 years yet.

The only bright Side I can think of is...it's only 2 games. If...IF we can beat KC we'll be 4-2. That is still a good record. I'd be happy with that going into the bye week.

How many years do we keep uttering this phrase, before it's time to move
from the status quo. The Texans are a team that looks great against
bad teams, competitive against mediocre teams, and incredibly inconsistent
against good teams. Year in, and year out.

On the bright side the 2011 season will be locked out and the world end in 2012 so we only have 2 more years left of crap like this.

It is going to take years of just plain history(time) to be compared to the elite franchises and yes WINNING! Despite a bad loss today I still think the Texans organization/team/front office/etc have still set up to be a winner for years to come.

This is what I don't understand, why the hell are teams using the Texans as "sparks" for their season? That is absolute BS in my opinion. The Texans need to step their damn game up and quite allowing these 0-2 and 2-2 teams to tee off on them to get their season back on track. Washington did so, although they lost, Cowboys did it when they were staring 0-3 right in the face and now the Giants.

It pisses me off as a Texans fan that I have to waste 3 hrs of my Sunday watching them being stepping stones for other teams. Its bull$hit, no pun intended, and needs to stop ASAP.

Are you sure about that statement? They look pretty crappy even against bad teams.., I am a very very patient man, hell that is why I went into education, but even a patient man has his breaking point...

I'm pissed and see no bright side...

EXACTLY! There is not a bright side, not silver lining, the cup is not half full. Oh and that light at the end of the tunnel isn't playoff hopes, it's the 2010 mediocrity train about to run the Texans asses right the hell over...

They think the Giants kicked their ass today, KC held Peyton Manning to 0, yes 0 passing TDs today. When was the last time Peyton Manning was held to 0 passing TDs?

yeah it least it was a outta conference game

Its going to be okay guyz

Well i just keep telling myself that LOL
