Game day Giants at Texans

Forget the X's & O's. This game is about coming out of the tunnel with attitude. Which is why having Brian Cushing on the field is so important today.

Texans 24
Giants 20

I agree Lucky, but I think the margin of victory is a little bit bigger than that.

I'm going:

Texans 27
Giants 17

Going over to my mom and step dads today here in Austin and they moved here from NYC a couple years back so they are BIG Yankee/Giant fans.

They think Giants will roll. I tried to warn em',,,,lol,,,,, looks like they will have to learn the hard way and I will be there in person to watch!

Texans 31, Giants 28 (still have doubts about secondary so it keeps it close)

:texflag::d:

Damn fine day for some football. Let's go Texans! B-Cush is gonna hurt someone. Time to take out the other Manning! Yeah boy!

Cush is back! I hope we roll the Giants today. We need a good blowout win, especially with all of the trash Giants fans have been talking.

having to watch from home today. I'll be there in spirit. Great to the "The Brian" back. He's going to make Eli's ears ring since he missed out on Peyton. Go Texans!

I would love to see our Defense hold them to less then 20, but of course I will take a win in any way possible! Go Texans!

A few things to note on the Texans’ inactives:

* Wide receiver Andre Johnson, who was listed as questionable with a high-ankle sprain, is active and in the starting lineup. Johnson injured his ankle in Week 2 at Washington, aggravated it in Week 3 against Dallas and was inactive in Week 4 at Oakland.
* Defensive end Mario Williams, who was questionable with a groin injury, is active and in the starting lineup. Williams has not missed a game in his career since being drafted first overall in 2006.
* Defensive end Adewale Ogunleye is active. Texans coach Gary Kubiak said on Friday that he was going to have to decide between suiting up Ogunleye or newly-signed end Mark Anderson, who is inactive.
* With Jacoby Jones inactive, rookie wide receiver Dorin Dickerson might get his most extensive action on offense this week. The seventh-round pick out of Pittsburgh got only two or three snaps last week at Oakland

As long as our defensive line can keep the pressure on Eli Manning and force him to make bad throws, it will give our secondary relief instead of having to rely on them to contain the receivers.

My keys to the game are as follows:

A.) Protect Matt Schaub on offense and keep him upright so he can dish the ball out to our receivers.

B.) Open up holes and run the ball hard with Foster and Ward and use Slaton on screen passes.

C.) Let Cushing run wild, blitz him hard and let the rein of terror began!

D.) The Giants will rely on their passing attack so we need our LBs and defensive linemen to get to the QB and bring him down.

Giants 17

This is what I originally thought, but I'm upping it to 35-21 as I agreed with JB (I think it was) who think that Slaton might return a kick for a TD.
(It doesn't neccessarily have to be Slaton, but I'm feeling that we get a TD return; ie. could be an INT.)

Good news on the Nolan front:

Today is Bizarro-day, I'll be cheering for the Cowboys :)

I'm trying to think of a way that they both lose

I can not bring myself to cheer for either of them. The only thing I can think of is a tie so they both lose a half-game in the standings.

And yeah yeah, I know, I should be hoping for a Titans loss, and I know in reality that's the best outcome, but I just can NOT bring myself to wish any type of good on the Cowpies.

How about the Cowboys win but look horrible doing it? :)

A man after my own heart. It would be nice if they could both lose. Actually, a Cowboys win is the better scenario. That way we won't have to hear it from the Possum Holler fans about how the beat the Cowboys and we didn't.

link for the game anyone? im watching the link on atdhe and it suckssss for some reason always connecting... any others out there?

My God. Did you guys just see Smith pushed his guy into the face of Bradshaw 4 yards deep a second after the ball was snap.

Effin' sick D right now.
