Seeing some of the collisions he's involved in , I bet he goes home dizzy after every game ....

With some teams not even carrying a FB on their rosters in this age of football , the good ones go unappreciated far too often.
 
Vonta is playing like a Pro Bowler this year but making it to the Pro Bowl is more about name recognition and popularity than quality of play.
 
If Arian keeps up the way he's running I believe there's a very good chance Vonta gets recognized for how important and solid he is for us.

With two Monday night games and a Thursday night game, Vonta will get some national exposure this season. Wouldn't that be cool as hell if both Vonta and Foster made the pro-bowl?

Defenses shy away from the blows more the later the game goes. Vonta is taking it on himself to annihilate the wicked!
 
... scary! i'm watching the second half and on our first two drives leach has hit every number on the field, from 21 to 96. poor #52 groves is getting the worst of it at the moment, the current play ended with him on the ground with leach standing over him on a short yardage first down. to his credit, groves keeps getting up - though very slowly lol.

Which is a real shame, because a quality fullback is what makes a good running team. The Bears line up their TE in the backfield to block on passing downs, which works not at all.

Frankly I'd be happy with the entire league outside the Texans doing away with the FB position. It seems to be working great for us :hurrah:
 
Did anyone see Inside The Game on 13 last night? Bob Allen seemed a little Timid while he was interviewing Leach. He is one big scary azz dude!
 
I would HATE to be the guy on the opposing team watching film on the Texans during the week and knowing that you're going to be the one taking on Vonta play after play. That has to keep linebackers and safeties up at night.

Actually I think he's playing like an All-Pro FB.

Press might not recognize it, but you can bet opposing teams watching film are.
