Andre Johnson should have been the new old spice guy

I didn't think it captured or improved on the humor of the old commercials with the original dude and at the same time I thought it didn't really work as a "Ray Lewis" commercial either. It was just a mess IMO.

And ET is right, David Anderson would have parlayed this one commercial into a career after football and eventually, at least a Day-time Emmy.
 
I don't know if any of you remember the "Dick's Sporting Goods" commercial with Andre Johnson featuring Nike vapor trail gloves...

"...it's ridiculous... Who wants a hoagie? Don't forget to stay hydrated..."

I remember that being so hilarious every time I saw it!

Lol! at the fact that Andre Johnson of all people would have even been thought of for a commercial like this. Sure, lets go out and get one of the most boring guys in the league for a commercial that's supposed to be funny. Lol!

I love some AJ, but I love AJ as RECEIVER. Other than destroying DB's on Sundays AJ is the most boring guy on the team. His interviews are snooze fests and he couldn't be more dull as far as personality and wit goes. That's what I love about him though. He could care less about attention and trying to entertain people. He just wants to destroy people on the field.


The perfect guy for this commercial would be Peydon Manning. He's great in just about every commercial he does.
 
I dont know, I kind of liked Ray Lewis in it. The old spice guy is supposed to be full of swagger. no one says swagger like Ray Lewis
 
I thought it was kinda lame...until the raven blew up Saturn. That made the commercial hilarious, imo.
