Wow, that's really cool to see. I wish we could read some of those threads, though!

I think of Texans Talk as a terrific example of how fabulous Texan fans are. How different groups of fans worked together for a common goal.

And that we are fortunate that the Texans were generous enough to give the old MB here--they could have easily told the people who asked for the board to migrate here to pound salt or could have just shut the old board down with no notice.

Go back and look at nfl2002.com from the very beginning. That was a strange time back then. I was spending time on there talking to people and I remember thinking "This might not even turn into anything at all".

I have no idea when I first switched over seems like forever. I remember being angry at the old board and then getting an email from someone (I think Vinny?) about this one. Oh and it is almost time to chuck in another donation eveyone to keep this MB rock and rolling!

Ah, I remember those days as well. Cool to see how the site has evolved since then, and now how much traffic flows in here as well.

Funny, I found the thread that I created asking "Biggest Rival?". I remember John McClain on 610 one day said he was reading through that thread and mentioned texanstalk. That was pretty cool back in 04.

I remember the old TT smack talk forum used to get pretty rowdy and the insults would fly like crazy.

Holy ****, a diapher sighting. Hey sweetie, I have missed you.

I have missed you also and our Mafia days amongst our other babbling and photoshopping days...the new job has taken away all my fun time here!!!! I will ALWAYS be around you can count on that :smooch:

That is the REAL history of Texans Talk.....not the abridged version some people have of when the merger happened.

Those were fun times.

The official boards decided at one point to no longer use Vbulletin software. At that point, I believe Vinny and some others were able to get the archives from the official boards and move it over to TT which was a non-official board but very popular with season ticket holders, bullpen members, and tailgating groups. Since that time, the official boards have gone back to the original software, but imo have never regained their position. TT is the official boards to me.

All colors Tailgates in Docs Old Jobs Lot Downtown, Those were the days, I do believe we need to renew the all colors for the off season
