NFL Films: 2009 Houston Texans

I loved the second angle showing of AJ's monster TD in Arizona where right after you see basically the entire crowd in the background just in a state of shock and awe... then you notice a pocket of Texans fans dressed in blue all going crazy. Awesome

Great find, stevn8r.

Knowing the NFL's indifference for the Texans, they probably have it hosted on an old IBM 486 with a 2400 baud dial-up modem.

I tried to do a full screen view...could've messed it up...you can go to HT.com to see it there! Although their player blows as well!

I was excited to watch this and it was a very cool short feature, I love a lot of players on this team!

My only problem with it is that it really wasn't the 09 Texans because the 09 Texans had 7 losses that they did not go into details about. As much as it would pain me to watch them I still wanted them to show every game of the season, including the losses...would have made it more real.

Y'all had some slow modems... my 486 had a 9600 baud modem.

I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

Ewww! Wow! Get on those BBS's and get some Trade Wars going! At that speed, think about how many forum posts you can make on the Prodigy bulletins boards!

Screw that. I was logging into the UHDC Vax with an Apple ][ and a 300 baud modem. When I got a 1200 baud modem, I was pretty sure I was the shiznit.

But, you're right, my 486 had a 9600 baud modem, iirc.

I just watched this video. I'm probably going to get fired, because I watched the whole 23 minutes at work.

But damn. That was a good video.

That was cool. My favorite segments were about AJ & Schaub, and Pollard. :jam: :texflag:

My favorite sections were:
1) mentioning we have set total offense team records three years in a row.

2) mentioning we have set a new record for points allowed.

For some reason I get the feeling we'll be setting total defense team records for the next three years.

Absolutely love this video! It was a little strange that they made very little mention of our losses, but I guess that would have taken away fromt he theme of us having our first winning season! NFL films always does a great job and I look forward to our 2010 superbowl winning season video this time next year!

Dude was that AWESOME!!!!

Just what we needed after the Saints game. Although I broke my DirecTV Remote after two quarters of play, by Sunday afternoon I was calmed down, and realized the sky hasn't fallen yet. I think that was (hopefully) a blip on the 2010 radar.

Although I realized how good these guys played in places or all of last season, but this video is a lot to get excited about.

Pollard: Wow that guy not only knocked the piss out people, he was every bit the game changer Cush was. BP had sacks, interceptions, and fumble recoverys. If the guy plays at that level again things should go well.

AJ: He's my favorite guy period. I read an article about what he would have to do to make the HOF. He has to maintain yards per season above 1000 for a while to get close to Chris Carter and a couple of others. If he stays healthy he has a chance, however he is a stud no matter what. He is a beast and just plays hard. Most Primadonna Wide Outs won't do what he does.

JJ: Forgot how well he played late in the season. Man that guy look likes rubber when he jukes DB's. That one play at Miami he looked like Gumby!!!! Although I liked the pick originally JJ was in my dog house, but by the end of the season I was glad we had him. Although I still like Walters as the #2 just because he does the dirty stuff better and is so clutch, JJ could really be dangerous this year.

Foster: I know it was only a couple of games last year, and the Preseason, but this guy is exactly what this offense needs. If he doesn't develop fumbleitis he could be the consistant RB we need. Based on the little bit we can see of him, he may solve the short yardage situation. The combo of Slaton and Foster could be pretty dangerous if they hold on to the ball, they would keep defenses on thier heels with thier different running styles.

Cush: Was obviously awesome last year, lets see what 2010 brings and then we'll see.

NFL Yearbook, featuring the 2009 Houston Texans, will air Thursday at 5:30pm on ESPN2.

Change in schedule. The show will now air Sunday night at midnight on ESPN2.

They're going to show the Colts on Thursday at 5:30 instead of the Texans. :thumbdown
