Not to be mean..... but Texansblood, you could have paid the guy face value, and then resold them to Texans fan out of the goodness of your heart. He was helping champion out since he was having a new baby, you should of stepped up to the plate first! He was being a true texans fan by helping the guy out when in need.

Maybe there was a real fan looking some face value tickets, but they can't find any because people buy them just to make money off of them. It's called scalping and it is the reason real fans can't afford to go to games sometimes.

Texansblood Just repped you.

Big Toro..... Unnderstand.... but you had the same opportunity to step up to the plate. If you want all Texans fans..... buy all the tickets and screen who you sell to. If they are TRUE Texan fans...... they would have SEASON TICKETS! If people don't want to pay OVER FACE, THEN DONT BUY THEM! If NOBODY will buy the tickets from his post, then he will lose money or lower his price. Its SIMPLE economics. He is the same guy that bought the tampa bay game for face value..... remember that.

Sorry, but I take exception to the bolded statement. Not everyone can afford season tickets, nor had the opportunity to buy PSL's. I looked in to season tickets this year, and there were none available from the Texans that had 2 seats together. And no way I could afford to pay 2.5 X face value.

Texans tickets are one of the BEST ENTERTAINMENT VALUES in Houston. Tickets start at $25 per month (that's cooking dinner at home once or twice a month rather going out to eat) for the 700 section. You can get the 600 end zone seats for a whopping $29.17 per month. Its just like a new house, a new car, dinner at outback, vacation in Mexico, if you WANT something bad enough you do what it takes to get it. Sorry.... just my opinion. I am honestly not trying to piss you off, but it is what it is, Texans and Cowboys tickets in the end zone 600's are going to be going for about 3-4 times face value. You could of had the entire season for $350 per ticket, or the cowboys only in Sept for $125 per ticket (and that's only $10.42 a month).

Are you serious? I sent the guy a pm as soon as I saw the post for my buddy but dlarm1 was the first person to post and see the thread so he had dibs, only to resale them and make money off of them...

Dude whatever.

Entirely incorrect, buddy. There's no way you could contest my Texans fandom, but I don't have season tickets. Why? I live 7 hours away from Houston. I spend all my extra money every year going to one game. I was fortunate enough last year to buy tickets from someone who sold them at face value, which allowed my wife and I to take our daughter to the zoo while we were in town. We are very grateful to them for that.

It is flat-out wrong to buy season tickets from someone at face value whom you know has given you that deal so that you (presumably a Texans fan) have the opportunity to enjoy the games, with no profit being made...only to turn around and try to make a quick buck off of the people that have to beg to get tickets at face value.

It makes anyone trying to see a game asking for face-value tickets look bad, even if they're just dying to see the Texans play.

I understand where you are coming from, but why should somebody be able to just call up the Texan's or buy tickets online for the Cowboy and Texan game for face value? This is the same person that will not buy preseason or non marque games for face value. Just like you said, you wife wants to go see Indy, Peyton Manning, Opening day, but how come not the Chiefs, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, or San Diego? Season ticket holders support the Texans by buying ALL of the games (preseason and even all tickets in a 2-14 season), how many games did you want to go to that season and pay face value? It is a benefit of being a season ticket holder and it should be rewarded to those that pay all the time, not just for select games. Whether it is a scalper, and individual, they buy ALL the tickets even when people don't want to buy them from them. I am not trying to be rude or ugly, but I am just stating simple facts. The Texan's don't give us a break and sell us at 25% on the dollar when in preseason the starters play less than 1/4 of the game, we pay FULL PRICE. If a guy wants to make some money on tickets let him or her do it. You have the same opportunity they do.

Just to answer your question: My wife and I went to the Seahawks game last year. It was my first Texans game ever. I am really dying to see a divisional game (frankly I don't care which one...but I really want to see us beat the Colts).
