Let' trade a WR to Philly

The Preacher

Waterboy
Since we have five or six that are roster material why not give one up to a desperate Philly team with draft picks galore. They also have a lot of depth on the d-line. Obviously speculation but since pre-season talk can only go so far why not speculate. Who would be worth giving up and for what?

How about Corey! I have a feeling we wouldn't miss him at all. After that I would lean to Starling although I think he has a lot of potential. Right now, I would hold on to Mathis, Kasper,AJ. Another question mark is Gaffny, but he's still playing injured so its hard to trade him.

what about swinton? i find him the most difficult for him to make the team with kasper pushing and mathis too. i dont really know how much his stock but it's the only one i really see leaving out of the rest.

I'm from Philly and their talk radio has been nothing but TO talk. They did suggest trading with Houston for Bradford or Gaffney.

Gladly give them Bradford........... Just as long as the price is right........ That could almost be anything................

We couldn't get fair value for Gaffny right now because of his injury. It would probably be a conditional trade if they wanted him. Conditions, being that he played and got over his injury..................

a 3rd or a 4th for Bradford or a 2 or 3rd for Gaffney would make happy.. if they did it. I cant see anything more..

Bradford has almost no trade value. I won't say zero, but if you got a conditional 6th for him, that would be high imo. He is worth more here, than a future 6th. Same for Gaff. I doubt anyone would give you a first day pick for him. I would say a 4th is a possiblity, but again, Gaff is worth more to us, than a future 4th. I just don't see any of these trades having any chance whatsoever. Speculate away if you like though. :goodnight

Whatever it takes to get more draft picks I'm up for, Armstrong looks like Gaff 2.0 so trading him won't be too much of a burdon, and the more picks we have the more likly it is to move up in the draft and take one of the top OLT.

I like your strategy Breakdance, I just don't know if we could get much for
Armstrong ? Bradford gets us nothing , and while Mathis & Starling are speedster with potential (especially Mathis), not much market value right
now - far more valuable for us to retain and develope. But I like your plan
to accumulate picks for next years draft if it involves trading a "non essential player".

I have been authorized to offer the Texans a veteran WR, already signed for 6 more years, in return for the services of your waterboy for the stated period.

You gotta be kiddin Harry ... our waterboy is much too valuable to be traded for the likes of that 'veteran WR'..

Trade Bradford for the opportunity to egg T.O. the first time he does something stupid after scoring a touchdown this season.

I like the idea letting armstrong take over gaff spot. I think armstrong has more potential and already can do as well if not better than gaff. As far as i have seen armstrong has great hands and will make plays happen with circus type catches. I dont really see that kind of agility from gaff. I think armstrong is more focussed while running his routes and more aware of where the ball is in flight. but thats just IMO.
