Rate the Texans needs

Hi guys,

I was wondering, how would you rate the needs of the Texans? I can`t really catch too many games of the team here in Germany, so a lot of the things I know just come from reading on the net, so I´m still kinda trying to figure this team out ;-)

So how would you rate the different positions going from 1 (we desperately need a new starter here) to 10 (we are all set on this position for years to come):

I'll give it a go ....


QB 10 - Schaub is

HB 7 - Foster looked good last year and they drafted Tate but he has yet to prove a thing. Slaton if he can hang onto the ball can be a game changer.

FB 10 - Vonta is a solid FB and there are a couple TE's who could line up at that spot if needed.

WR 10 - AJ , Walter and Jones are among the leagues most dynamic WR groups.

TE 7 - Dreesen played well last season in the absence of OD. If OD can come back from the injury and agree to terms TE is set.

OT - 7 Im ok with Winston and Brown but would like to see another swing tackle added , the only swing tackle on the roster is Butler.


OG 6 - Could use an upgrade here.


C 3 - I know the coaches are high on Myers and his metrics say he's done a good job but Id like to see a bigger stronger guy in the middle.


I'll get to Defense and ST later , Im in a bit of a hurry.

Are you saying that all we have is partial prostitutes? Is that really fair? I don't know any of the cheerleaders, but they seem nice and sweet. Not saying that a pros can not be sweet or nice but you know what I mean.

Back to the thread, actually I am hoping we don't need anything. Next draft we should be able to strengthen backups rather than holes. I am leery of FS and DT but we should be just fine. I also would not be surprised to see a QB taken pretty high if Dan O. does not take a major step forward.
