Depth Chart is out!

Yep, I was definitely surprised by the rookie from Lafayette UL as 2nd on the depth chart... especially considering the level of competition he faced after junior college.

-you also don't see Wand or Pitts juxtaposed...

Capers named Wand the starter going into camp but he will have to fight for his spot. If he shows well I don't expect him moved unless Riley can play LG (then we could put Pitts at LT). They will give Riley some reps at LT but I don't see him starting there. He should be a reserve.

Wells is still listed as the number 2 Rb. there are very few of us who think he will hold onto this, but interesting none the less.

Wells will probably split that duty with Morency or Hollings considering he'll bounce between RB and FB.

goodness I count 80 bodies on the depth charts

I know, its alot. Luckily, we keep getting more depth and it keeps getting harder and harder to cut people which is a good sign that we're getting better and improving.

Level of ability of personnel continues to improve but the team remains
young - only about 6 starters (3 on each unit), that are in their 30s. And by the end of year the they may be even younger. This bodes well for not just near term but also long term goal of staying competitive and competing for the playoffs.
