The Sharper brothers were on NFL Total Acces today and Jamie said that he's happy to be going back to a playoff team, and that he's looking foward to getting back to a team where he can show what he can do.

I am paraphrasing here, somoeone else who saw it might have a different spin on it.

He should go to the playoffs, he plays in the weakest division in football and in the NFC. It won't matter though, because even by some bleak and I mean bleak chance they make in out of the NFC to the superbowl they'll just be knocked around by some superior AFC team. The AFC is just so much more dominant than the NFC right now its not even funny. Also when you look at some of the younger AFC teams on the rise it really looks like its going to stay that way for quite some time, Jax, SD, Cin, Buf, Oh yeah and Us :homer: The NFC has a couple of top teams and the talent level falls off dramatically after that. The AFC is tough from top to bottom. :ouch:

Wonder why he didn't go to Minn with his brother?

Didn't he go to seattle? And they aren't a playoff team for sure from what I saw last year but hey what do i know.

No Seattle isn't a play off team, but when everyone thinks the Cardinals are going to win the Division, I wouldn't count them out.

Texans aren't going to the playoffs, not in the AFC as a wildcard, and certainly not over the Colts. In the NFC west anyone has a sporting chance. They seahawks have the most of what I would consider an offense and defense in that division.

Seattle had a complete callapse after starting the season hot as could be and still stumbled into the playoffs. In the weak NFC/west they will probably find a way in. They play in the same division as the Cardinals, 49ers, Rams (good team, but bonehead coach). Seattles wrs dropped passes all over the field last year (which is exactly why they lost in the playoffs  ), they don't do that and they're in.

Nobody said they were, but ya never know, weirder stuff has happened. I mean one bad sack on Peyton and the outlook on this WHOLE division changes.

(they pay these people all to think the same wrong crap, got them lapping up the Cardinals of all teams....yeeesh, they get paid to be stupid, if only I had better writting skills.)

As a rule, if your hopes rely on a durable QB going down for you to take the Division, you won't take it.
Being in the same division as Brett Favre has taught me that much.

And even if Manning did go down, the little I saw from Jim Sorgi is still enough to win in the AFC South. He does have a QB's wet dream to throw to afterall.

Hawks are still hard to beat at home, and they play road games vs crap every year.

If peyton gets hurt the colts will still be a good team. All they have to do is give the ball to Edgerrin James

I'm not relying on a injury. I'm just saying don't automaticly give the division to the colts, every year they're one injury away from the #1 pick in the draft. Also Jim Sorgi couldn't lead the Colts to the divisional crown, not in the competitive AFC south, too many good teams. It doesn't matter anyways because I don't think anything's going to happen to him.

Thats why I think they'll make the playoffs

Without Peyton, those giant holes EJ runs threw wouldn't be there. Everybody would just stack the box.

No. No team is stacking the box against Harrison, Wayne, Clark, and Stokley. It doesn't matter who the QB Is. You are forcing Jim Sorgi to throw, and he'll likely be throwing to a single covered Marvin Harrison or Reggie Wayne if you stack 8

That is an easy enough read that even I could make the throw ^_- Or Kyle Boller.

As for being one injury away. Every team has 1 player that could effect their season. Hoping for a durable one to go down isn't going to do much.

Fine, they stack 7 instead and put Sorgi on his back. I've NEVER seen anyone who can audible at the line as well as Manning.

I want us to sack him everytime we play, but he earns every cent they pay him...IMO he may be the best QB to ever play the game.
