A "1-15" record against the Colts is NOT okay......flip the script and win this one.
That's about all I got.
well my wife is a huge Manning fan. She wants to live in sin with him and have his babies. Every time I want to aggravate her, I ask her when is Payton going to start a family ? And is the lawyer wife merely a beard ? Inquiring minds wish to know if Payton walks on the wild side ? Maybe Archie or Cooper can step up and do the job for him ?
I remember when we played Dallas and there was a historic sign that said "1-15 is okay. Just win this one."
I don't know about you but things have changed for me and our team can beat them all now. Is there another way we can change/reword that sign for the Dallas game?
I know people like this that is why I have dubbed Peyton "Substitute Jesus" He is made out to be all everything so much by the media I feel the only thing he hasnt done yet is die for our sins...I wonder if Jesus takes a day off does God say...fill in Peyton
The Cowboys may be better than the Texans but...
Houston is better than Dallas!
"15-1 is ok, but this ain't the one"

14. at Houston (Sept. 26, noon) -- We know where this game ranks for Texans' fans. We know they're still talking about 19-10 down there because in eight years their pro team hasn't given them any playoff games to talk about. Houston's on its way. I like Matt Schaub a lot. But, sorry, they're still just the Texans.

If a Cowboys player said that it would be different. Tim is a writer. That's what he thinks. Didn't come from the team or anybody on the team. Big deal.
Who cares where it came from. It's just another example of the arrogance that surrounds that organization, it's fan base and now, the writers.
Oh brother.
To be fair it's not like this writer is writing for the Dallas Morning Star or anything like that. He's an ***** blogger who writes what he feels. If he doesn't think that the game will at least be competitive then you already have an approximation of what his football opinion is worth (not much).
Which, more more than likely means he's a closet Cowpoke fan.
Prove me wrong.
Who cares where it came from. It's just another example of the arrogance that surrounds that organization, much of it's fan base and now, the writers.
I thought it was a given that this guy was a cowboy fan ( I see now he's writing for a major paper ).
Writer from Dallas has no idea about the Texans. Messageboard shows surprise.
What is the difference? Cowlishaw is just expressing what has been said here....alot more people take it as a rivalry here. It isn't an indictment on the talent or team...just the excitement level of the game. And he is a writer for the DMN.
I never understood why they weren't interested in setting up a rivalry. Sure, they look at us as "little brother" and not worth their time...but in-state rivalries can be a lot of fun. It just seems to me that they're too arrogant to consider the fact that the two teams are 1-1...and this game is for bragging rights for the next 4 years.
Unless of course they win...at which point they will shove it in our face. However if they lose, they will be quick to point out how the game meant nothing to them and that we are the only ones who see it as a rivalry.
I wish someone would email that to each and every Texans player... And once a day to Cushing, Pollard and AJ.

Haven't understood either why both franchises aren't interested in making it a yearly thing and turning it into an easy geographic rivalry.
Bottom line though is it's a once sided rivalry right now. Though I agree with you if they do win they won't hesitate to shove it in the face of Texans fans.
"Superbowl championships=5
Living in Dallas=not worth a single one of them
Go Texans"
Forget the past
Our time is now
TeXans-the best team in Texas"
Ehh not very good but couldn't think of any others rite now.
Cowlishaw can be an asshat. I usually pull against him on Around The Horn when he's on.
Yeah, us Texans just talk about that first win over the Cowboys all the time! That's all we talk about on this forum, who cares about last season's 9-7 finish, all our pro bowlers and all-pro players when we can relive our glory days of beating the Cowboys! Yeah! This guy is sooo dead on and isn't a conceited dick at all! Good thing those Cowboys don't hold on to outdated irrelevant monikers to define their team so they can remember the good ol' days. Oh wait...
You're essentially talking about reallignment, or a complete change in the way the NFL does it's scheduling. In the case of reallignment, neither the NFL, nor the Cowboys are going to allow a change that takes away the existing rivalries with the Giants, the Eagles, and the Redskins. In the case of changing the method of scheduling, I doubt the league is going to do it because of one wannabe rivalry, and from what I can tell, that rivalry is kind of a one-way thing anyway. I am absolutely insane for the Texans, but it's not a rivalry because the fanbase of one of the teams says it is.
Besides, rivalries don't automatically exist/develop because of geographic proximity, nor can they be forced by recurring scheduling - the Astros/Rangers have proven that. They just have to happen on their own.
