John McClain reads awtysst's posts

awtysst

Draft Guru
This is something John McClain said in his chat today, "John McClain: Wilson and McCourty are running neck and neck as the second- and third-best CBs...I like McCourty a little better because he's more physical. Wilson's physical but not as physical as McCourty. "

Hmm. It seems all of a sudden McClain has jumped onto the idea of taking McCourty ahead of Wilson. I would also like to state that awtysst is the person on this board that has been talking up McCourty for weeks.

So there you have it:John McClain's "draft sources" are the draft guru himself:awtysst!

No no. You misunderstand. I don't think on the same wave length as him, he is thinking on the same wave length as me. If he reads more posts, perhaps he will use it and trememndously improve his columns. And, of course pay me a certain % of his salary of course!!!

True, but Joe Haden fell to us in our mock. Had Haden been taken earlier I would have made a case for my boy McCoutry. As is always the case, schemes make players. McCoutry is a slightly better fit for the system than Wilson. That said, I'd be happy with any of the top 3 CBs.

Not at all. I just know to skedaddle from McClain's choices. I don't care where he gets his ideas from. I just know the pick turns to dust once he slaps on a thumbs for it.

If I were you... i'd redo your mock...

I mentioned liking McCourty a couple weeks ago too, but now that McClain mentioned it I might change my mind to a deep-snapper.

I get that but you know I never would agree to McCourty going #20 (not bpa). now if the Texans trade down with Vikings then I'll listen :winky:

Which is of course the best case scenario in my mind: we trade down pick up extra picks plus McCoutry!
