This mock took me two hours to do because of my spelling please post

!~~~~~~first round pick~~~~~~!

Runingback, Ryan mathews

Since Earl Thomas ran a 4.37 40. I highly doupt he will be there at the texans pick, and kyle wilson will be gone too. so i think we will go with ryan mathews. Since he is the best fit at runing back, and the best overall pick at number 20.

!~~~~~~Secound Round Pick~~~~~~!
Cornerback, Patrick Robinson

I like him alot, but if chris cook is there at the texans pick. I rather have him, but i highly doupt he will be there. The only reason im woried about Robinson. Is that he got burnt way to many times, but who knows. He may be beter then the former number 23.

!~~~~~~Third Round Pick~~~~~~!
Safty, Major Wright

I may be pushing it with him but since. He did go to a good school *florda*. I would go ahead and draft him. He is the best safty at that pick

!~~~~~~~Fourth Round Pick~~~~~~!

Defencive Tackle, Mike Neal

A big tackle that had 34 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks

!~~~~~~~Fifth Round Pick~~~~~~~!
]Center, John Estes

An ok sized center. That set the NCAA record for most career starts at 54. I would be very happy with this pick.

!~~~~~~~Sixth Round Pick 1a~~~~~~~!

Defencive End, Chris McCoy

Would be great to see him take reps when smith is takeing a break. He had a great year with 20.5 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks

!~~~~~~Sixth Round Pick 1B~~~~~~~!

Outside Linebacker, Stevenson Sylvester

A great pick up another player that had a good year with 81 tackles, five TFL and two sacks

!~~~~~ Seventh Round Pick~~~~~~!
Guard, Matt McCracken

A guard that has a chance in the nfl one day.

This is my best draft by far. It took me 2 hours, but it was all worth it. Post what you think about the spelling and the mock. Thanks =]:bender:

I like the first 5 picks. You've given it some good thought. And for those first 5 picks, it doesn't look like you've shifted anyone out of where they should be expected to fall. You also didn't reach for anyone.

Now. Spelling. You asked about it. (I'm going to include grammar as well. And because I'm doing this, I'm going to make some sort of huge grammatical or spelling mistake. Count on it.)

1. Be consistent with capitalization. first round pick has no caps while all the other titles have the initial letters capped: first round pick vs. Second Round Pick.
2. Runingback -- Running Back
3. mathews -- Mathews
4. a comma after "4.37 40" not a period.
5. doupt -- doubt
6. texans pick -- Texans' pick. It's possessive and a proper noun.
7. I would put a period after "Texans' pick" and then say "Kyle Wilson will be gone, too."
8. kyle wilson -- Kyle Wilson. It's a name.
9. "gone too" -- "gone, too"
10. so -- So. Capitalize the beginning of a sentence.
11. ryan mathews -- Ryan Mathews. It's a name.
12. "Since he is the best fit at runing back, and the best overall pick at number 20" is not a sentence. You shouldn't have put the period after Ryan Mathews.
13. runing back -- running back.

I'm going to stop there. But those aren't the only problems. I think every sentence has at least one problem even the ones I think you copied from websites. For example, I think "A big tackle that had 34 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks" came from WalterFootball's website but you clipped the period from the end of the sentence. :)

Anyway, good work on the mock, man. Keep working on those English skills, though.

Hey kid... it wasn't perfect but I didn't get a headache. I appreciate that effort. Thank you for taking the time to try and make this easier on others. Good job.

I don't comment on mocks. They're only mocks.

Thanks for the feedback! I dont copy walter football word for word. I use it mostly for the stats, but i think i may of accdently used more then i should have.:kitten:

Yeah, I went back to WalterFootball and checked it out. It's not word for word. It's just really close:

An All-Big Ten honorable mention, Mike Neal had 34 tackles, 11.5 TFL and 5.5 sacks in 2009.

A big tackle that had 34 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks

Not a bad mock bud. As far as spelling goes, just make sure to re-read it before you post and sound it out. If you are not sure, consult a dictionary. Or post only words you are sure how to spell.

Nice effort. Your grammar is definitely getting better, keep it up.

About the mock:

1) Mathews, you won't get any arguments from me.

2) I am not wild about Robinson. I would much rather pick another position than reach for a corner here.

3) Wright is not going to be an NFL quality FS. Of course, that is just my opinion. He played on a D stacked with NFL prospects. They covered all of his flaws, I would be very wary of drafting him.

4) Again, I like where you are going, but I think you have the wrong player. Also, he is probably gone by thins point.

5) No thank you here. Estes will get owned just the same as Meyers against larger, stronger DTs.

6) McCoy will be an undrafted free agent. Also, we already have our DE/OLB tweener with Barwin.

6) 6th round, I won't complain here. I would personally look for a more athletic cover LBer, but that is just a personal preference.

7) Haha, McCracken will not start day one, for any team. I have him as a UDFA, but its the 7th round, so that is ok.

About your mock: I would advise watching the players that you "draft". You don't get the whole picture from reading other people's evaluations on players, as they may have biases you don't know about. Plus, it is the internet. Anyone can spout off anything they want.

I'm impressed with the effort you put in.

Keep on working to improve. You're getting much better.

I would like to see us grab OL before the 5th.

The players you took are in the realms of possibility so with that being said your mock is as likely to be accurate as anyone else's on here.

Not to be a jerk or anything because I'm guilty of this too but another suggestion would be to type in Microsoft Word and check your spelling there. Also, try to make you format look like the one's other people have posted, you know no need for the big red signs, keep it simple.

Nice effort kid! :shades:

Nice effort kid! :shades:

There's no 'i' sound at the end of simple. Sim-puhl is how I'd pronounce it.

Two hours due to spelling?! Yikes....

Other than that, I appreciate the effort and enthusiasm you're putting in about the draft and the Texans as a whole, and like someone else said, your HCE (headache causing efficiency) has gone down quite a bit in the past couple of months, so good work!

Enjoyed reading.
