I just found it funny too hear the Boo birds start their appearance early in Foxboro.

It's always amusing to hear posters in these parts say that's why Houston fans have no class - note to fellow fans...when your team starts sucking badly on the field ALL fans boo coast-to-coast.

Anytime I get to see Tom (where's my flag?) Brady fail, it brings a small smile to my face.

I wouldn't say that's certain. Remember he's supposedly got all those injuries he's been playing with and there's still plenty of time for Ray Lewis to kill him today.
 
Refs make mistakes as we know and it's up to the coaches to give the refs another chance to correct the call. I am not a ref homer by any means because most of them do suck but I'm just saying.

Yeah, but doesn't Brady routinely turn down the invite anyways? If he turns it down and Manning/Brees goes to the Bowl (hopefully Brees over Manning), then Schaub is a lock to get in.

If Manning goes to the bowl and Brady turns it down then Schaub would be in. The AFC QBs would be Rivers, Roethlisberger, Schaub.
 
There are few teams I'd rather have "defending" a 17-pt. lead than the Ravens. C'mon Baltimore!!
 
The Pats used to be such a balanced team but now that they have Moss and Welker they went to the spread and are too one dimensional.

Plus their defense isnt what it used to be and the guys they have drafted have not worked out.

Baltimore punched them in the mouth all game and New England just let them.

How in the world did Baltimroe end up with 34 total passing yards, on only 10 attempts, and score 33 points?

Flacco had 6 rushes and 10 pass attempts. wth?
 
Yep Dan, I'm not very good at picking winners this weekend. 0-4. All my teams are dropping like flies. Maybe I'll pull for the Cowboys next week so they'll be sure to LOSE!!! :zipit:

I'm right there with ya, Grandma.

Although, I feel better going 0-4 after watching Brady and Belichick eat dirt. I picked them, but am very happy to see them fail in a huge way.
 
I went 4-0 in my from-the heart (no head involved) picks for the weekend. Various reasons for each to be sure, but I'm so happy to see the Pats out in the 1st round, there aren't words.

Tom Brady was picked off 3 times and gave the Ravens short fields to work with. Also the Ravens notched over 200 rushing yards.

Not a pretty game for both QBs, but down the stretch Flacco made a few important throws for first downs.
