Tailgater Of The Year

Drew_Smoke

@Drew_Smoke
I saw this in the paper today. I didn't even notice Hoffy when the judges came by where we were.

They had this one judge who seemed to be a bit of a snooty young lady. Maybe a stripper from Ken's radio show?? I dunno...she kinda acted like Grace Kelly was her Great Grandma or something...lol

Then when they announced the winners she was the emcee...lol. Turns out she does traffic for Hudson & Harrigan? Are they really still on the radio? And you really didn't fire TJ Callahan...for that??? LOL...well good luck little lady. I see a trail of men throughout Houston saying, "I am about sick of her shi..."

But on a good note...Laura Reynolds was quite the opposite.

Anyhoo...the pig in the box was good stuff. My wife couldn't get enough of the redneck sushi too.

Those jalapeno peppers were so tasty...and Chef Ron's chili recipe is something I am going to get on the off season (dunno if he knows this yet).
That was the best roasted pig I have ever had...Cuban roasters rock!

Redneck sushi is an awesome thing. :spin:

I LOVE my Blue Crew!!! Just common tailgaters enjoying the true meaning of tailgating. NO sponsers, no huge "ovens" or "grills," no pigs in a pen, no tall tales of buying all our supplies at HEB, no loud, blasting music, just family and friends meeting together in the corner of the platinum to eat, drink, and talk football. I'm a happy tailgater!!!

Well, TXDavid's grill is kinda big. :hides:

Raging Bulls lost by 1 point and Corey Bradford said he wanted them to win. :texflag:

I wanted Raging Bull to win! They're our neighbors on Platinum and really cool fans!

David and his NON sponsored grill ROCK!!! He's the BEST, and shops at Krogers too!

Lance Zierlein is gettin' after Ken Hoffman right now about the judging. Lance (obviously) was pulling for
Raging Bull Tailgaters too.

:chef: Thanks gma - and I do shop at Kroger, lol! HEB tried to charge me more to get my t-bones sliced a little thinner (they were 2" thick). I asked the lady as she was slicing them off, and she said, "you'll have to pay more" even though I was buying the same amount of meat! So I bought none at all.....

Houston tailgating really is the best. Congrats to all the Tailgaters of the Game and the Tailgater of the Year. You all rock.

Whether it is a sponsored tailgate you like or a non-sponsored family orientated tailgate you prefer, we are all winners, aren't we?:texflag:

I agree fully with TED no matter what kind of tailgating you are into/looking for you can find it at Reliant.................we saw some Patriot fans in the yellow lot that look amazed at the different setups and groups.
:fans:

Every last stinking tailgate in Reliant parking lots are winners, You do not come into the NFL 8 years ago and reach the #1 tailgating city in that amount of time if you do not try. Congratulations Texans You have reached the level you want your team to reach, now lets hope the team follows suit next year.

Me too! The Battle Red Bunch does the same. The HEB guys come by and we say "thanks, but no thanks." Now, if we could only hear ourselves talk over the unemployed DJ's that think 100% of Americans want to hear their music.

I truly believe that Texan fans are now prepared for the team's success to match our own enthusiasm.

In our misery, we have created a community...in the tailgates, in the stands, on the message board, in the blogs. I was a huge Oiler fan, but I have to say I didn't know any other fans other than my friends who were also huge Oiler fans. It was pre-tailgating, pre-interwebs. There were Oiler fan clubs stuff, but boy howdy, Bud Adams specialized on alienating the fanbase and you had to love the team despite him a lot.

I think that the Jaguars are now suffering because they got a taste of success too early, and they are spoiled rotten with any sort of problems. They already had issues being a small market, and it's hard for them to show up.

The fans have done brought it in the tailgates, and when this Texans team is actually really really good, I believe the city of Houston will blow up. The fans are ready...we are just waiting for the team to catch up.

All of us fans tailgate like Superbowl Champions. Its time for our team to start playing like Superbowl Champions.

the only losers are the tailgaters that burn their meat.

That should be printed on fortune cookies or it should be posted at the enterance of staudium parking lots so tailgaters can hit it like the Notre Dame 'play like a champion today" sign.
