Looks like we're in for a tough season:

Away: Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Philadelphia, Washington, Denver, Kansas City, NY Jets.

Yikes, 7 of our 16 games are against 2009 playoff teams.

No gimmes on this schedule...

Urrggh - you're right tough year. Seems like we end up getting these guys on the road every year!

Looks pretty tough but there isnt a team on our sechudle that we cant beat

I feel this team is good enough to beat anyone in the NFL

other then Balty and Jets Rex ryan seems to own us this has to change soon next year

If we don't replace our center, nothing is going to change. Haloti Ngata and Kris Jenkins will do what they always do and that is completely own and embarrass Chris Myers.

So by winning yesterday we gain two games against playoff teams that run a 3-4 defense that has flummoxed Kubiak every time he faced it?

The Texans are certainly gonna earn whatever they get next year. We are going to need some key pieces this offseason to improve on our record against a slate like that.

Tough schedule, but the Texans are no gimme either. We need some key pieces: stud safety, an at least servicable C, and maybe make a splash at the WR position this offseason. Re-sign Pollard, Ryans, and Daniels, too.

Next season cowboys is coming into our house...defintly gettin tickets to that one. We also play philly, the skins, jets again, chargers, and some other teams. Already countin down to the next season

2 chances for me to attend an away game.

Which is more fun? Going to DC to see the Texans whoop the Redskins or risk going to Philly to watch the Texans play the Eagles?

I was thinking Philly until I found out the Shanny's are going to DC. Would be fun to watch our guys prove to "baby" that he made a big mistake being a Daddy's boy! This would be ONE game where I wish Kubes would lay it all out and run up the score. BUT, Kubes being Kubes, he'll take it to the wire, and his loyalty to the Shanny's just might cost us a win.

Will attempt to go to Philly, D.C., and/or NYJ. Possibly Denver as well.

Not too sure about that...I seem to remember a butt-whippin' laid on the Broncs in our house while Sr. was still there.

Chris Myers seemed to be pretty serviceable, but the number of QB hits he's allowed HAS to improve next season with the Jets and Ravens on our schedule. Haloti Ngata and Kris Jenkins will be looking forward to playing the Texans.

its not just myers that struggles against those monsters, most C's do. he struggles against those guys & sometimes in short yardage but overall is an above average C yet he continues to get a raw deal from the armchair o-line coaches

I waws looking at our records against the teams were playing and were screwed we only have a winning record against one team and that is Oakland at (4-1) here are the rest:

Colts=1-15
Jaguars=8-8
Titans=4-12
Dallas=1-1
Giants=1-1
Chargers=0-3
Ravens=0-3
Eagles=0-2
Redskins=0-2
Broncos=1-1
Chiefs=2-2
Jets=0-4

We have never even beat 5 of these teams!

OH NO!!!!

:francis:

The team that those teams played wasn't this team. This team should be good enough next year that it doesn't matter who's on our schedule. We should win. A lot.

And you never know which teams on your schedule are going to be good or bad until you get there.

Have to win the close games. Our schedule gets awfully tougher on paper but I have faith that our roster will be more complete than ever.

It will be sweet to get OD back! Just have to pray for health and we should be fine.

meh....what these teams are like now and what they'll be like next year is two different things. Of course that also means the Texans, which like any other team, can come out either good or bad next year. Just have to wait and see if Da Kubinator makes a team out of the Texans for once.

I am surprised no one has updated this. Everything is right except your AFC West opponents.

Home: San Diego, Kansas City
Away: Denver, Oakland

This is due to the new NFL rules that limits west coast travel. The Titans would have had to go to both Oakland and San Diego in 2010, but they now they only go to one (we play KC on the road instead of Oakland).

Those records mean nothing going to next season because a new era has begun. I'm glad we're playing a so-called tough schedule. When we make the playoffs next year no one will be able to say we benifited from a soft schedule. You have to beat the best to be the best right?

How do we play the Jets and Oakland agian ?????

FIrst of yall isnt the jets in the 1st place now in the AFC east or are the still consider 2nd in the divison since NE won it

we finished 2 i guess we are 2nd in AFC south .... so is that why we play the jets agian

The Jets and Ravens ownz us and we play them both next year Yikes !!!!

The Jets finished 2nd in their division. So we play them because of that.

The Ravens finishd second in their division, so we play them.

The Raiders are in the AFC South, so we play them.

If we want to take the next step, we need to beat these guys.

Probably just an accident, but the Raiders are in the AFC West. We play the entire AFC West

Can anyone verify this? Sounds right to me, though. Thats interesting
