Non-call on DRob in the endzone
The tripping call

And there was one other call I thought (my mind is blanking) - wow, if that was the Colts that would NOT have gone our way.

Anyone else think the officiating was shaky?

It was on both sides. They gave Miami a few generous spots and the non-PI on Andre on the 2nd to last drive.

It was even.

What?

The tripping call was correct and blatantly obvious. The defender (Cushing?) went flying up in the air as a result of Politte's leg whip.

I don't know what non-call on Dunta you are referring to.

That shove on AJ was so freaking obvious, and a no call. I think it came out even on the bad calls.

That was a totally legit call, the guy had a blatant leg whip/trip. There is no way Henne would have gotten off such a perfect pass if Barwin hadn't been held up illegally. Having said that Ginn absolutely toasted Dunta.

It was pretty even. Miami got some good spots, the Texans got away with a couple things. No worries. Oh, the offsides on Barwin was bush league.

I was just messin around. It was a typical Chris Brown fumble.

I don't know about typical.

That was pretty neat the way he spun around in mid-air, and watched the ball roll off his pinky finger.

pretty athletic & attentive if you ask me.

I'm beginning to believe that while there exists a higher being that hates the Texans, this being seems to hate the Dolphins more.

The refs were pretty horrible all around. They had some phantom calls, and missed some ridiculously obvious ones.

It was completed in the middle of the field against a 3 deep zone. That would be on Busing.

i like winning... lol.. i love how i have nothing to say after we win.. but when we lose thats when i open my mouth haha... :fans:

Probably one of the worst officiating games i've seen all year. The Texans have had their share of terrible calls against them this year, but the overall games in which those things were called weren't as bad as what i saw today. On a 3rd and short situation, Miami was clearly a yard short of the 1st down marker, but they gave them the first down without a measurement at all. Miami had their share of undeserving calls and things that didnt go their way too, so it was a balanced game as far as penalties went, but it was all just completely horrible.

Uh.....the tripping call was not a bad call it was obvious.

As far as everything else, I think the calls were pretty even. Like Barwin being called for offsides when he jumped and clearly got back.

First of all, the tripping call was a good call.

But, there were also several bad calls against the Texans. Miami was blatantly offsides when we had the ball at the ~5 yard line on 3rd down in the 1st Q, IIRC. The offsides call on Barwin was a bad call as he obviously got back into position before the ball was snapped. And there was a blatant shove on AJ near the sideline on a pass that wasn't called.

Both ends got it bad in this game.

And, from what I hear, since we were forced to watch Curtis Painter rather than an actually good game, the Philly vs Denver offciating was equally bad.

Oh, the offsides on Barwin was bush league.

I actually laughed at that. I mean, they can pick up a flag right? Yeah, he jumped over the line but jumped back with time to get back into his stance for a blink and then the ball was snapped. Bush league.

The CB fumble was pretty F'd up but they got the ball back anyway so it wasn't a total F'ing.

The leg whip, I mean...I can't even believe the Texans can GET a call like that so I'll take it. Especially because it negated Dunta get burned.
